Believe it or not, playing other people's games (competitive analysis) is a good thing for the industry. There's usually something to be learned from someone else's game. Sometimes it's a cool mechanic or application of a mechanic, and sometimes it's how not to do it.

I haven't played D3, so maybe new WH visuals would be all the good that CCP could take away from the game. But even by that definition, there's so much to be learned about how not to do it.

when i read an explanation of their policy from a dev they didn't mention that they could just retired them until they stopped working for CCP. it just tl;dr'ed to "dev gets outed? dev retires char"

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

I bet your the hardest working Dev right now. Trying to improve the game and make it more enjoyable. That way when you do start EVE up, will be a blast. Though that might make it harder for you to retire. Wonder if they ever will let ya.

I bet all the other devs are working hard to nerf supers, so when they get back, its just easy going pwn road, to domination.

Truly I'm really fond of Raivi. I don't know why , there is something on him that makes him likable (could be his aura?). Watched him the past couple of AT and I have to admit he's quite a commentator. Never the less I'm glad he's in CCP (as long as it lasts).
