Future of WHs

Given EVEs player driven development and the way in which CCP actually pays attention to what we say, I felt that I should share my idea and see if it lights a fire under CCP.

I would like to propose a new aspect to WH life, the temporary stabilization of open WHs threw the use of anchored structures at either side of the WH opening. These purposed structures would utilize the same fuels as POS's, burning fuel in relation to mass as it maintains the open vortex. The WH would still have mass limitations as per existing WH mechanics but would allow for sustained incursions or exodus threw WH space. These structures would be linked and the destruction of either would destroy both as well as collapsing the current WH (this collapse being unnatural, should be violent leading to damage being delt to ships close to the event horizon). While being deployed the structure would be vulnerable (no shields) but once active would have EHP somewhere between a Cyno jammer and a customs office.

The possible implications of this would be very interesting, ie. multiple pockets linked threw WHs for extended periods, massive conflicts at event horizon of WHs, and general chaos and destruction.....all of which we in the EVE universe live for.

I believe this proposition fits well within current EVE universe and, as a WH dweller myself, would add some more intensity to WH life. I intend to light the fire on forums over next couple weeks with this idea and look forward to ANY response from you guys and the gentlemen at CCP.

Sincerely

This thread has already been discussed, and as I recall, pretty much no one wanted it. With the exception of say, 2, 3 people?

Learn to work with the mechanics. They were designed that way for a reason.

Someone has been watching to much Deep Space 9.

But i like your idea man its amazing, we could name these structure's "gates" and they could be visible on peoples overview so everyone could warp from system to system without having to probe.

I demand CCP take immediate action to resolve this problem immediately.

I think the only thing that lights a fire under CCP is Eyjafjallajökull
Which screwed everybody in Europe over, if I recall correctly

Man we dont need K-space **** in WH but i have another great idea for you. Maybe CCP just can remove local in K-space and after that you can go to Hi sec and play easy without this all WH mechanics?

Awesome and new idea, the wormhole stabilizer.

Maybe we can add a pos module to give local chat to the defenders, moon goo to wh moons, and the ability to gain sov in wh systems. Allow cyno jumps, supercap building and we can have all that 0.0 has to offer.

Or we could leave it as it is, and revel in the unique environment that is wh space.

I want Concord on standby in our system, can we make that a POS structure also?
Also a POS structure to disable scanners and probes TYVM!
