As a matter of interest are you similarly mindlessly entitled in all the games you play? Should CCP also campaign on your behalf to remove the hurtful and intrusive "ladders" element from Snakes and Ladders? Should we sign your petition to have tackling removed from football since it is stopping you scoring every time you play?* Is your chess opponent endlessly griefing you by taking your pieces and stopping you from making pretty pictures with them?

*Just kidding the reason you don't score at football is that they'd have to remove a wall of your house before you could get outside.

Sure. Make 1.0 and 0.9 totally combat free. No activating of aggressive modules. Then remove auto-Concord death from 0.5 - 0.8. Would make for a better game. Might get kind of crowded in Jita though.

You do realize all the market hubs are that level of sec status right? Also I found the perfect game for you: https://us.battle.net/account/creation/wow/signup/;jsessionid=13AD17D28E3D5FA2B05891FEB36703E4.blade34_04_bnet-mgmt

OP:

As a relatively newer player here, one of the things that I find appealing is that this game is a total sandbox. Douchebags and all, everything in this game is perfect.

I like to know that this isn't a game that limits your options.

This change isn't good for eve. If you start taking away risk in certain areas you start turning EVE into something that I don't even want to play anymore, and I'm a high sec dweller. I enjoy the risk though, if I am undocking in space someday and the risk is no longer there... well that will just be a real sad day.
There is no issues with newbies not being able to enjoy the game the way it is, there are even corps dedicated to helping teach newbies how things in EVE work.

Removing all combat from 1.0 space is not the solution because you're looking at the wrong problem.

Removing PvP from exactly FOUR systems in the game would solve the actual problem. Which four systems? The newbie start systems of course. And not even the whole system - just a 500km radius from the tutorial station.

You guys may think it's all fun & jollies to have fifteen bait cans sitting in front of those stations all day & ganking every five minute old character that dares to undock and, Heaven forbid, try to play the game but guess what? That kind of stuff makes newbies not want to play anymore. Their free trial effectively ends in five minutes later as they log-off uninstall the game. They do NOT become real subscribers because you have scared them off before they can even get started. When their friends ask them about EvE what do you think they tell them? "It sux, stay away from it, nuthin but a buncha a-holes in that game."

You are costing CCP money and you act surprised when CCP makes game changes to stop you?

Yes, tears are part of the game, but when the tears reach a threshold where they start coming out CCP's wallet then there should be zero surprise when arbitrary changes get made.

So yes, a "safe zone" in front of newbie stations would actually be a very good thing, because putting an end to the absolute worst of the dickery would help CCP's accounting department. Past that I feel regular CONCORD mechanics are doing fine just like they are.

only if CCP adds a rainbow as system effect

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

If you see people can baiting newbies in the newbie systems...

shouldn't you be reporting them? I thought that was already a major offense. Like "banned if you keep doing it" kind of thing.
