arty Machariel + Chimera on undock: way to kill?

Situation: low-sec system. 1400mm Machariel is sitting on undock and alphaing small ships. Chimera is shield boosting him.
What i want is: kill the machariel.

let's say i an get Mach into 1 minute aggro.
Questions:
- What to use and how many ships i need to kill it?
- Let's say i can find 2-4 guys. Is it possible at all?
- What if we get 1-2 jammers (blackbirds). Will be they able to neutralize Chimera?

Forget about jamming, especially with Blackbirds -- bring more damage. With four or five guys in Taloses or other high-damage ships, you will be able to kill him before he docks.

If you can only get two guys, bring a Moros/Revelation and something with dual 90% webs (you'll need a "third guy" for the cyno because it needs to be at range from the duder, but you should have an alt capable of lighting a cyno and flying a Rupture or Maller)

If you can get a few more guys in dreads or supers and get him to launch fighters, you'll get two killmails :D

We had the same problem, bu with Vindicator and Archon.

But really, you can run the numbers for yourself, even assuming an ECCM fitted on the carrier, you can jam it.

if the mach pilot is not an idiot ... he will dock the ship inside the carrier and u cannot do a **** about him ... this is the most advanced station gaming fagotry in this game .... enjoy

As Snakes says, unless he is a mouth breathing ****** he will just dock the Mach in the Chimera (aggression mechanics do not apply).

Well with the new aggro Mechanics this should be fixed i believe? Of course those mechanics have that pesky "Coming Soon" attachment.

Met a guy doing the same thing.

Haven't found a way to kill it, once we warped in on him, while he was agressed, he dumped his Mach into the carrier's SMA warped the pod off and docked the carrier.

No way to kill it unless you get the carrier agressed and kill the carrier.

Bait him to aggress, jam with because of falcon, bring enough Tornadoes to alpha him.

Bring enough to alpha the carrier, then the mach will follow.

Undock newb alt in Merlin. Proceed to get newb killed.
Have good interceptors warp in for Tackle, Warp in DPS/Falcons, Kill Machariel.
Repeat until Success.

If he dumps it into the carrier, repeat until he goes away or finds another undock to mess with.

Station Campers are horrible at just about everything sans docking radius, and he will make a mistake eventually, exercise some patience and it should pay off. Keep in mind, this could some time.

Didn't know about the carrier dock thing. Can you smart bomb his pod? Or too close to station?

Cant smartbomb within 5k of station.

But i can bet you can tempt him into moving off range of carrier if you offer a juicy enough target..
