I just wanted to thank you for the podcast. I've been getting more and more into solo/small gang, and I've been enjoying my PVP a lot more! Creamed a rupture in a fed comet, and I've been romping around syndicate in my rupture killing indiscriminately. Thanks Kil2!

Thanks for the feedback guys! Getting lots of great mails and love seeing the thread still getting bumps.

New episode for you - we ended up cutting it a tad short because kovorix internet was freaking out, but I think theres some cool stuff.

Look for next episode hopefully having another ccp guest to talk with us a bit =)

Loved the pod cast.

I saw Genocide by Zach Donnel and I thought, hey that is doable. So I built a cloaky loki exactly like his fit and I headed out into null towards little pockets where it showed a few pilots active.

Obviously I am a horrible newb and I scanned slow and had problems finding ships. It took me way too long and then they were always in a pos. After several hours I was bored to tears and went back to high sec. It was nice being completely safe and having the time to fumble over scanning for ships, and prolly the most fun I had was flying out of huge bubbled gate camps free to warp cloaked.

So it was back to trying to tank entry camps with bs and dieing horribly, watching the fraps and seeing what mistakes I made....besides the obvious one of trying to fly a bs.

I like the shield rupture and trying to kill tackle as I burn away, but mabey I will give the thrasher a try.

When I'm bored, I watch your stream quite often, but if you are going tribute again and I see you I won't promise I won't go after you again :P (Sorry for that)

Great stuff though, as a solo roamer myself (Or small gang warfare occationally) I see many similarities in the way you do things to myself and can sometimes read your thoughts as per "normal procedure".

Kil2 / Kovorix it is a pleasure to listen to your podcast and to "think about trying this stuff out". I also watch the stream and YouTube channel...so you guys are really good at delivering content using your philosophy.

I enjoy it a lot.

I would like to hear your views on:

- Being an FC
- Paid for roams - join you guys as FC's for training for a nominal ISK fee
- Out of game tools for Newbie and Vet
- how to set-up a personal kill board
- run a tournament - similar to ATX but with your philosophy in mind (ATX was fantastic)
- how did you guys meet? same corp? ever fought each other? etc
- Fit assist - use "fail-mails" to help solo players improve fit and chances of success

Kil2 we obviously know what you look like - Kovorix would be interesting to see your "mug" (face). Also interested to know what you both do for a living (no details) just the job.

Thanks guys, really enjoy what you both do.

Kil2 flies an autonado. For fitting questions you can almost always check the killboard for your answer.

Inspired by BSB, and by just having learned Assault Frigates III, I jumped in my very first Hawk last night and began my first ever nullsec PvP roam. I tried to use some of the map techniques you've shown in your videos to decide where to go. I ended up in Etherium Reach and I discovered that the folks out there have a serious hard-on for anchored bubbles. After flying through about 4 systems with no pilots and bubbles all over the place, (some of which I evaded, woo!) I ended up in a situation where I warped to a gate 26 AU away with nobody in local. By the time I landed on the gate, Hurricane, Ashimmu, Blackbird had jumped in. I landed in a catch bubble and died before I could turn back and warp to the sun.

Lesson learned: Buy some condors, learn how to move around in null and dodge bubbles better before coming back in a Hawk again.

Any other advice for what to do when the sky is full of bubbles?

Dscan... a lot... like your ship depends on it...

And never warp to gates directly, but I guess you figured that out...

Theres a very nifty trick to allow you to scan one of those awful ''+14 AU from everything'' gates.. It involves trying to warp and canceling the warp a few times until you have very small capacitor left (not enough to reach the gate in one jump) so the ship will enter warp, and come out of it short of the gate (sometimes several AUs short)... Stop your ship so it doesnt automatically jump again once it has enough cap, and dscan that gate... If you are lucky, there was a camp you just avoided... And start placing bookmarks all over the place...

Hope that helps!

Somehow we really didn't spend as much time on details with the cruisers as I intended to. The good news is that I think Fozzie will be posting specifics in the forums before too too long (edit: I hope).
