Project Nemesis graduates from pre-school

Yesterday, Project Nemesis endured the 5th anniversary of its inception in 2007. PRONS' history has been long, bloody, and (dare I say) illustrious -- one of the first PVP videos I ever watched on YouTube was a PRONS production, and only a month or so after joining them years later did I realize it had been them.

With a veritable cornucopia evil deeds under their belt -- from the theft of 30 billion isk from a wormhole corporation to the collapse of an alliance to the blue-on-blue destruction of a very lonely man's Nightmare -- there are plenty of people that harbor a hatred for the corp, or even a kind of sick fascination. Home of such heroes as Ten Tron and Bossdrum, there is no shortage of tales to tell of unkind things done and hurtful things said at an inappropriate time. Many people have heard whispered rumours of us in smoky back rooms, and many more have not heard of us at all.

To the members and former members and leaders of PRONS I just want to say that this is the greatest corporation I could hope to be a member of and I love you all very much; without you jerks none of this would be possible and EVE would be a much more boring and frustrating place for all of us.

To everyone else that we've encountered over the years: We're sorry for all the terrible things to you. We are really grateful that you spent all that time making money and that you happened to cross our path in one way or another. We hope to see you again in the future and, if possible, to make amends. To turn over a new leaf.

Who am I kidding. We're not sorry at all. Probably.

Proud to have been a member of the PRONS family for the last three years.

Strange to think that if I hadn't engaged Pollux on the gate in Basgerin, everything I've become and done in EVE would never have happened - from dismantling wormhole alliances, running multi-billion ISK scams, shutting down 0.0 alliance clusters for months on end, to the endless stalking of prey across the void...
