2032:

Energy (next to food, water, clean air) has become too expensive so that only the richest of the rich can effort to run a personal computer.

I'm sorry to tell you, but in late 2025 the whole gaming industry crashed including CCP. Humanity, now being represented by mega corporations instead of governments, has failed to understand that resources on this planet are very limited whilst the whole mankind is still growing ...

If we told you, we'd have to shoot you. We probably will anyway (in game of course).

I don't know when these went into effect, but here in 2032 the EVE forum and game TOS states that raising the following subjects or injecting them into a discussion will earn you a 30-day ban:

1. AFK cloaking

2. T2 BPOs

3. Removing local

4. Cloak 'fuel', system scanners, and other topics clearly intended to indirectly raise the subject of #1

5. ECM 'fixes', nerfs, etc. (This rule is enforced less strictly than the prior rules.)

6. Legion 'fixes', nerfs, "because of Legion", "legion2stronk".

7. 'resurrect TEST', TEST nostalgia, etc.

8. What the Mittani did.

I can't go into details, obviously.

After receiving 30 consecutive years of nerfs, supers are finally an accepted form of gameplay. These days titans are allowed one gun each and can only shoot structures. Supercarriers are allowed two drones and may target structures as well. EHP is down to 300,000 (350,000 for a max tanked Erebus) and they are no longer able to jump, meaning they must now be used only in the system they were built in. The cargo capacity was brought "more in line with other ships", 300m3 for a titan and 250m3 for a supercarrier. Armor supercarriers and titans have had their medium slots removed "to better fit their role" and are no longer able to repair anything as it was felt this role was left to the logistics class ships. According to a dev blog in 2028, supercapitals are now intended to be used for roleplay only and any player who was upset by this should just desub because they don't want your subscription anyway.

Needless to say, the game is far more fun now.

Unfortunately my Delorean was too crappy to ever reach 88 miles an hour and so I can't tell you.

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

the physics have changed - the fluid has become viscious and the balls have become rigid.

but the balls are still touching

i just locked an open door.. strange, yet symbolically compelling.

Eve is no longer but some billionaire nerd brought it and made it private server for his friends, he's also the GM the Mod the FC and whenever he's primaries or Damp by a Keres he bans you IP/Mac. He's actually playing with his 250 alts man fleet, try to mail him to join the party.

PS: he's actually anonymous and a little bit paranoid but if you put the effort you might as well find the old Eve O forums and apply.

All I can tell you is that Eve is a testbed, a trial platform for what has become the reality in 3725. If I tell you more, you will deny your birth.

In 2032 my character is(was) brand new. I traveled back to 2008 to train up Bitter-Vet V. When I get back to the present(future) I'll let you know.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

in 2020 the Jove brake the game. In 2027 FW ends and Rouge drones are declared the winner. In 2030 Jove ships lose the "best" title because Caldri Minmatar hybrid ships are finally launched. And finally in 2032 sov war fare gets fixed but no one cares because every one is playing dust 2 electric moon wars.

I wanted to paint my space ship red, but I couldn't find enough goats.

All the ships have been rehued, several new purposes for the same original ships.

The door in CQ is still closed.

There are 10 of us playing.

Otherwise nothing has changed.
