When I'm on SiSi, it's a trade. I'm spending time hunting for bugs (or sometimes just contributing load so they can hunt for bugs). In exchange, I get some advance knowledge, and a better game over on TQ.

That's the main benefit -- a better game, over on TQ.

But since they said we can't shoot the dust bunnies yet, I'm (insanely) curious as to whether we'll be able to even detect them yet?

I'm not going to be kicking if the answer is "no". If they have more basic stuff to test first, to ensure that they coexist without ANY interaction, I'm 1000% cool with that. My curiosity can wait.

Just let us know what there is for us to test. When you're ready. If you need to delay again to get it right -- get it right!

Seriously, when SiSi comes back, can I tell the difference? If I get together a fleet of Drakes and we shoot off a whole bunch of missiles, will we hear the Dust Bunnies grumbling about lag, way out in space?

Will we read tales of epic fails, when they find themselves frozen in place as they scurry across the torn landscape, unable to dive for cover as the enemy missiles seek their targets, as our space missiles swamp the server?

Or will we be as two cloaked Stealth Bombers, passing, unknowing, in the darkness of W-space, undetectable even on Local?

Will there be Planetary .... Interaction?

Why didn't you notice that they left no date for when it starts back up as they list dates on TQ when something is happening, They left it open so when next monday comes along and they are not done they can just pass it off till the next monday without any info update.

I'm sorry, I'm confused. It sounds like you think you are entitled to access to a test server as part of your subscription fees. Test servers are for CCP to test as they please. It exists for testing. Testing what? Whatever they want. You should have no expectation to access.

Sure, it might suck for you. But the indignation is unwarranted.


Basically this. I even apologised for the inconvenience, which I did not out of obligation but out of genuine feeling. If you understood the first thing about the difference between Duality and Singularity you would understand that this is impossible.

Hi All

Iv set up for the test server and the launcher is not showing any status and the log in is showing incompatable (realese).

Now iv followed all the steps and i thought it was becuse the test sev was off line, But after looking at the test server status its showing over 700player on there. http://eve-offline.net/

If anyone could let me know were im going wrong that would be great.

Seems singularity is online just we need an update to connect, all those on it atm will be the dust players. Here's hoping the server does alright with both sets of players connecting to it.
