Caldari or Amarr?

So after learning that I can be in any of the factions and was going Amarr but since a speech about caldari FW in why do you fight for your faction I am torn between my home faction Caldari or the Amarr Empire. Which should I choose.

Would you rather fight for religious zealots who believe it is their divine right to enslave all humanity and save it from it's "sinful" ways, or would you prefer to be a pawn in a game of chess played out by an oligarchy of "merited" elitists. Either way if I was you I would ask myself, will either choice promote the freedom and well being of ALL people, or am I just a puppet for a paycheck being played for the benefit of the few at the expense of the many.

If a single, well-written speech is enough to sway your loyalties, I suggest you fight for the Gallente.

You could also choose to fight for a group of tribes who will never accept you as an one of them, no matter how much blood and treasure you part with in their defence or for whichever sleazy 'puppet of the month' is currently promising the mob more bread and circuses.

I am not in it for the LP that much and I do not want to fly for the Minmatar or Gallentians they are the enimies of the two I am trying to decide to fly for Caldari for which I am or Amarr which I have much respect for.

Why not be both? That's what I did.

I'm a Caldari. I like Amarr ships. Therefore, my skills in Amarr ships are flawless. You too, can become like me. Look at you. Look at me. I fly Amarr ships, but I'm Caldari. (the women: omfg) Best of both worlds, baby. You can do it. Believe in yourself.

It doesn't matter, really. Whichever one feels best for you, I guess. People fight for different reasons.

Well just know that if you should choose to fight on behalf of the imperials you will likely be doing it in fleets of Matari ships, against one of the larger militias of the four empires filled with not only seasoned hunters who are very skilled at flying their ships, but also legions of organized and eager young capsuleers who ARE in it for the LP and more than willing to shoot at anything that moves, of course should you choose to fight for the squids you'll also find yourself up against some highly trained combat capsuleers who know their ships as well as the strengths and weaknesses of State technology inside and out. Either way I hope you have a fat wallet.

Call me negative if you will, but as far the situation with the Tribal Liberation Front's abundance of LP you can go here and read about that for yourself, also when it comes to what the imperials are flying one need only look at the loses on their killboard to see what kind of ships they fly, and study the amarr to minmatar sovereignty ratio here to understand the nature of current conflicts (recently the Amarr even lost one of their key staging systems to the Minmatar which you can find out more about here).

Finally as far as the Caldari are concerned what did you expect, I AM training to enlist in the Federal Defense Union after all. Blink

OK first I apologize for saying that since you did provide documents I have no problem flying other than amarr ships I was going to go in via caldari ships second that system loss was aided by defectors who camped at there used to be freinds stations.

Hmm well from recent studies and views of Amarr and Caldari it appears I will choose the Caldari State but it will be some time before joining a corp for Caldari FW due to iam in a corp already andiam preparing a plan to increase my is as I am a industrialist/miner.
