I hate it.... must be getting old. In my day we walked 5 miles to class, in the snow... uphill, both ways! Evil

Also there's a discussion board and the temptation to troll is overwhelming Shocked

I worked out they were Eve players after like half an hour of casual conversation.

I dropped my online class which set me back and entire quarter but I actually prefer it as it became fewer classes per quarter. It was economics and I have a hard enough time trying to figure it out even when somebody is describing it to me, let alone on my own.

As for the class, I took it the following quarter which was taught by a lady with a heavy Russian accent. Needless to say my understanding didn't improve much but I still passed.

I hate when that happens. Meet new people, start talking about gaming and they bring up EVE. I've been told I give off a scornful look when that happens, as if to say, "get out of my world". I then inquire as to what they do in EVE, what their politics are and so on. It never usually turns out to be a good thing.

This will be my first quarter taking nothing but online classes. I am looking at the bright side, though, as there will be nothing to stir my lecherous nature and I can therefore pour all my attention to the subject matter.

Honestly though, I find they do take more self-discipline than classes on campus.

I just went down and switched one of my normal classes for an online class for September. it is English Composition and I really did not want to sit through a three hour lecture twice a week for that. First time at taking an online class for me though. Its also going to be nice only having class two days a week in September.

Wouldn't do online ever, i pay good money to annoy lecturers and professors in person, i get irate when they send grad students to take lectures.

Obviously not an engineering or computer science major... Sad

The only online class I ever had was ridiculously easy. Take a few quizzes without reading the material, make 100's, then write a 1 page paper, get a 60 (because I ******* hate writing papers), then take final and make another 100, get A in class, profit.
