I disagree with the premise of the OP's question. Being drunk doesn't hurt the EVE experience. Enhances it, really. Smile

You're too drunk to play Eve when you physically can't type the password to log in. Note that this is only a problem if you haven't logged in yet.

You know when are too drunk, when running fleet ops and you wake up in the middle of space and your corp chat says "wake up you drunken ****" dozens of times and you have keyboard impression embedded into your face. True story after 10 hours of eve and a dozen bottles of real ale What?

You only realise you life has been a waste of time, when you wake up dead.

When you're 3 systems away from the fleet and yelling at everyone to get a point ( on a custom's station). At least I think he was drunk.

You know you are too drunk to play Eve when you can no longer hold onto your chair and float to the ceiling.

Yes, I am an alt.

It just occurred to me that if you know you're too drunk.....

....then you're clearly not drunk enough.

Isn't that how drink works?

I think the lower limit is a more interesting question. When are you not drunk enough to play Eve?

That reminds me of what Bill Cosby said when he asked guy , "What is the great thing about drugs?"

The guy replied, "It intensifies your personality."

Cosby, "Yeah, but what if you're an *******?"

I need to stop PVE'ing when hammered. The only time I've lost ships in PVE is when I'm pretty drunk. Usually because I forget to activate hardeners and reps while I watch the pretty lights. lol.

After having lost a couple of ships, including a carrier ~4 years ago to passing out drunk whilst playing, I try to dock/log off before passing out.

The only ships I've lost to PVE have been when sleeping.

When you run out of ISK. "Liquid courage" makes you DO things... like go on suicide roams into Providence in an arty-Thrasher.

Well mastering which monitor to look at is not too hard ...of one monitor. Blackouts from warp tunnels I can usually shake out of given time. But so far my tolerance ends, that I've found, when I spin the ship in the hanger round and round really fast, wake up on the floor the next morning or so with a keyboard print across my forehead.

Are there any tricks to increase tolerance that may work? How do you overcome them yourself? And is waking up on the floor the limit, or should I expect worse as I increase tolerance? thx in advance

Too drunk to play EvE....

... when you yell at your GF for not letting you dock even if you just heard her say that your docking request was accepted.
