Let me start by saying, that this toon was originally created for my wife to use after it had sat for a year and trained support skills, thus those are quite nicely rounded, while anything perc+WP has just recently begun being trained...

My wife no longer has any interest in playing computers, she's busy playing with our son instead...Which leaves me more time for computers !!

I intended to train for T3 cruisers of two races, so she could pick what she thought was the most fun to play, including the long line of T2 ships this would allow her to get into...Now though, I'm unsure where to take the toon...I'd hate to suddenly sit on 75 mill SP and decide to sell, at which point someone says 'But you can't even fly titans/carriers/whatever'...

So, this being an alt and being able to min/max stats and sit doing nothing for long periods of time, what would you recommend I train towards, if I should one day decide to sell her...And I'm talking longterm skill training, don't be afraid to tell me about a 2-year skillplan...Just make sure you mention, if I need to hit any area of support skills to boot...I'd hate to end up in a carrier without drone skills f.ex. Big smile

From the looks of it you would be a good tengu and possibly Loki pilot with some more gunny & missile Support skills of course unless you wish to pursue BS and up

you also have a lot of the skills needed for logistics and carriers would need a little drone love to get going but the tengu/loki are fairly clear paths as well as the T2 cousins of the racial cruisers

The original plan was for my wife to choose between (or both) tengu and loki, so she could mission with my main who's about 2% from perfect tengu skills...

I want this toon to be different though, I don't wanna hit 2-3 times my current SP and be like my main, who can more or less fly any races cruiser/BC sized hulls T1-3 with good complimentary skills, but nothing bigger then that...

So, should I aim for dreadnaughts (are they even used for anything but pos takedowns?) or something else/bigger and are there any core skills (except for drones which I may get to if needed) which I'm lacking..?

What about a pure support role? I made my ex-wife’s account (which she never really played) my salvager, refiner, miner, hauler, leadership, trade, orca pilot, noctis pilot…

Is your corp big enough to support your role to fly Carries and up?

Already got T2 salvagers on her noctis, and I have another toon on the account who handles my trading/hauling/leadership problems...

And I'm mainly thinking this toon as a pve or pvp pilot in the end...At least, that's what I trained her mem/int remap for...

Still looking for a good long term goal and ideas for which support skills to grab...
