Keeping this short and simple: I need 3bil to kick start my new trading toon.

I have been running a successful manufacturing business which generates a good few billion per month. I've decided to expand out and delve into some trading which I've had some experience in and enjoyed a while back in between my batches of production cooking.

Bond size: 3 billion ISK
Interest rate: 10% per month, i.e investor will receive 300 million on top of initial investment 30 days after bond commencing
Collateral: 20x Tornado & 1x Obelisk
Start date: As soon as investor(s) is found (Would prefer 1 single investor to keep this simple)
Duration: 1 month

If interested, drop me a message or comment below.

Dany,
I do not mean to at all be harsh, this is an open and honest question. They market value of your collateral is about 2.7-2.8 billion. Why not just sell those items to fund this new toon instead of using them for collateral?

Thanks,

JG

Obelisk is selling at 1.6b, 20 tornadoes at Jita's price of 69m is 1.38b, so 2.98b total essentially.

The obelisk is a second freighter that is not currently in use. I could, of course, sell and rebuy but I wouldn't like to if the price of it were to rapidly skyrocket or deplete. The 20 tornadoes is simply one of my many batches that I haven't gotten round to selling yet, nor do I have the time to at the moment. Slightly lazy of me, admittedly, but the honest truth.

Completely understand. Laziness is a market force all by itself! how else would I make money buying in Jita and selling elsewhere, all I am doing is capitalizing on other peoples laziness.

Hi,

If you find a truthful 3rd party to hold your collateral, I may fill the whole bond.

The collateral does not cover the full loan.
First of all collateral is not calculated on sell orders value nor at current value.

The investments that do this, are 110-120% overcollateralized to compensate for the possible market oscillations, something very current during summer, expecially below 2 days before GW2 (it will have an effect on EvE markets, it's already having it).

Tornadoes are in a descending spree and just formed a double top.

The spread and the amount of updated sell orders vs buy orders completes the picture.

A more realistic Tornado value for collateral purposes is 62.5M

62.5M x 20 = 1.250B

Likewise Obelisks are worth no more than 1.4B, they are being currently manipulated but it's easy to see where their true range market is. Look at the insane spread as well, it's worth more than a thousand words.

The total *payable* value for this collateral is 2.650B and this assuming a 100% collateralized loan, not a prudential 110%.

I may:

- fully fund this loan for 2.6B @10%

- act as third party but I will not guarantee any reimbursement to the investor exceeding above 2.6B. I'd guarantee only the higher between 2.6B and the marked to market value of the items (in case the investor wants an insurance vs collateral depreciation contract. Else he just gets what the collateral is worth and that's it).

Thanks for all the input and insight, will take this into account next time around.

I wasn't aware of the specifics with regards to collateral requirements. In this instance, it would seem that I am better off simply liquidating the collateral and using those funds to get started.

Apologies and all the best.
