CCP & Walking in Stations.

Has CCP abandonned walking in stations entirely?

Like most people, I think the emphasis should be on Flying in Space, but eventually I'd like to see the game evolve into a complete space simulation, including walking in stations.

Anyone know what CCP's latest signals are on this topic?

There is a blue dev flag next to the thread, that takes you directly to the first dev post in the thread. Just continue to click on that blue flag in the thread and you can bypass all the ranting and just read the dev replies.

WIS has been put on the back burner for the time being. It is still something that is and will be worked on, however at the moment they have bigger fish to fry. Tbh releasing Incarna was a bad idea since it was no where near ready for public release, and should have stayed on Sisi for a lot longer.

So no it has not been abandoned, just dropped down on their priority list.

They have a team looking at what actual gameplay in that style would fit in eve and be interesting, exploration seems to be the main interest right now.

They are not abandoning it, just pushed it to the side for now because they have "neglected" Eve for a few years now.

You see that blue "Dev" tag next to the thread? Click on it and read the post. Then click on the "Dev" tag under the Dev's picture to go to the next one. Now that you've learned how to find CCP's official response in a 62 page thread you can accept that you're not a special snowflake who needs their own special thread.

As a few other nice posters have pointed out, if you click the little blue DEV flag next to the thread, it will take you directly to a CCP Developer response. And since this thread is now redundant, it gets a nice little lock - ISD Type40.
