After Patch 1.2.6
** Contracts still report as bogus alerts in Journal
** Resetting all settings in order to remove stupid tutorial icon from neocom is still a stupid fix - we need instructions on how to edit the setttings file in order to get around this lameness
** Loading local on login has bad standings displayed half the time
** Loading corporate hangers in Unified Inventory still takes way too long
** Unified Inventory window still taking up too much real estate for little to no gain
** We still haven't been reimbursed for SP lost in errant skill remap coding
** Graphics card is working much harder since 1.2 - may have to drop accounts since even dual boxing is becoming impossible
** UI is loosing responsiveness over past two 1.2.X patches
** Yo-Yo graphics zooming when undocking
** Pi UI crashes out on legit operations about 20% of the time

Using a PC (Windows 7 OS)

Issue:

NPC Faction standings seem to be overriding my standings with NPC corps. For example, I have -2.12 standing with The Syndicate. I have 6.73 standing with Intaki Space Police. However I cannot do L4 missions with Intaki Space Police because my Syndicate standings are overriding the standings with Intaki; I had been able to do L4 missions with Intaki in the past. This started happening a few days ago and I am waiting for my petition to be answered.

doesnt a faction standing of below -2.00 limit you to the number of agents you can use for the corps of that faction? I would suggest that its only recently that you went below -2 with Syndicate which is the cause of your problem.

I see this nearly 100% of the time with minimizing and re-opening the Local chat window being the workaround. In my case, there are no standings applied when the defect occurs rather then a negative / bad standing. I have a defect report submitted to CCP (#137257) and it is labelled as being attached to an official defect.

@ CCP: Yes, I have cleared my cache, deleted all of my client settings on my HD, etc.

Last i checked, if you drop below -2 with a faction you will only be able to access lvl 1 agents of that faction-regardless
of corp standings.

I thought it was my cheap mouse. I changed to a known good mouse and now only sometimes have this issue.

I've seen that.

Tends to happen after I've alt tabbed out then back in. It thinks ctrl is held down. If you look at your overview, you'll probably see a lock symbol.

- Completing a mission with required Ore on the OreHold, the agent does not see it. Just means I have to move it into the main inventory, not a habit I am used to. (pre-patch the agent would see the ore in the cargo and green light).
- "Loot All" ore from a jetcan - it just fills up the small cargohold, instead of the OreHold. (flying Retreiver) any chance that behavior can change?

Issues since 1.2.6:

Massive intermittent frame-rate drop/client freeze-ups, seemingly without rhyme or reason, to the point of becoming un-playable.

Machine (I know it's old, but it was never a problem before this patch as long as its limits are respected. Upgrades coming Soon(TM)):

HP MediaCentre m8125x

Windows Vista 32bit SP2
2 Gbytes RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7350Le
Intel QuadCore2 Q6600 @ ca. 2.4GHz

Settings:

Toggling sound on/off, no effect.

All effects on (Switching off didn't seem to make any difference according to the FPS monitor)

Anti-Aliasing: Off
Bloom: High
HDR: (Yeah right, with 128MBytes of video-memory? Loooool...off)
Post-Processing: High (toggling between settings again seems to make no effect)
Shadows: Disabled
LOD: Medium
Texture Quality: Medium
Shader Quality: Low

Interior Effects and Shader: Low

I've ran the repair tool, cleaned cache, no difference. If I'm understanding the performance logs correctly (The CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-M thingy in-game), then I'm getting a looooot of lag with pretty much every server-call?

^^Not my area of expertise^^ to put it mildly, so....please advise? Because I can't do anything at all with this at 5-7 frames/second, and I've never seen this before this patch, as stated.

And yes, I did file a bug report for all the good those ever do Roll

I'm also seeing a lot of "rubber-banding" when warping in to various objects, which I hadn't seen in years. This was becoming present before this patch, too.

Hi the last update was nice to get but have still an gripe with the drone window resetting / refreshing every time I launch them ..
I tried in full screen & windowed in combat & out no diff ..

It was intermittent before but the last patch made it worse ( It relay bites when you can't see your drone health in combat don't have time to reopen the health bare in a fight )

Hope this is the right place for this

my Market Quickbar is a duplicate listing of the items on main market screen - every folder is there, with no option to remove them.


* I'm guessing at this, been in w-space for a little while and don't use Market too often there

Edit: first time Market opens, (if it opens at Quickbar) tab is empty - although there ought to be items there. It only populates with duplicate folders after I go to main market screen.

Still getting the frame-rate near-freeze up issue, newest driver, virtual memory increased (like 5-fold) per suggestion in the workarounds sub-forum, un-install/re-install (again) combined with an overall much lower framerate than pre-1.2.6.

Help?

EVE has been essentially unplayable for me for like a month, and it doesn't look like my bug report has even been looked at?

Are you fixing this --i am hardly the only one experiencing this, and a lot of the others who are have much nicer equipment than me, so it's not just my old hardware-- or is it -3 accounts from almost 4 years?

Rolled a new character and I'm doing my best to use the Unified Inventory window with the tree view open.

Every time that I dock, the tree column's width changes / minimizes to a very narrow value.

Ref.: post 418, numerous others, and multiple threads by people with much newer/nicer equipment than me.

Will you ******* for Gods' sake even acknowledge that this exists, or Heaven forbid, fix it?

I really don't want to hit "that" button on the account management screen (three times, in my case) but why would I continue to pay for a game that I can't actually play?
