SOrry to go off topic a little here, but I just watched the "A Deep Space Oddyssy" and am not quite sure what I was watching.

I take it he was trying to get to a certain location in Jove space but why? and how is it that, in my interpretation, it took him 23 days and he still wasn't there?

Well... he was trying to just "get there" from a system close to Jove Space without using a gate or jump portal (technically impossible). He manipulated bookmarks to that he could cross the ocean of space in between star systems using nothing but his ships warp core. Space is big. It took a while to fly out there. He guided himself using the in-game map browser. When he finally reached his destination according to the map browser, of course the system didn't load up... but it was the determination and effort that went into it that made it impressive. Despite not actually getting the system to load up, he managed to achieve some degree of victory in that according to the map... he had reached Jove space. He did something that "can't be done" and for that, I salute him.

Anyone posting a vid that doesn't show a screen COVERED with friggin' windows makes it onto my list. Why even bother posting a vid if you think I want to see your corp chat, Local, your ship's cargobay, Overview, mail, Assets, etc???
