EVE has lot of trials. Lots of new ppl come and try it. EVE became a quite popular game in the MMO world. The thing is EVE doesnt retain so much of those trials.

PVE needs to be re restructured form bottom to top. A whole year (2 expansions) at least should be dedicated to PVE.

Missions:
- New missions, New arcs, New COSMOS.
- Better AI
- Missions for more ppl (3,5,10)
- New type of missions "Challenge Missions" (not instanced): Kill a BS of every pirate faction, Kill 10 ships in low sec etc.

Exploration:
- More interesting sites
- Different analyzing, hacking and salvaging mechanics (random generated puzzles, tricks)
- Meaningful discoveries: NEX stuff, Patches (u patch your ship which gives u 1% missile velocity etc.), Archeology which would give u achievements in form of certificates.
- Wis type exploration after docking into abandoned sites.

Minning
- New mining mechanics added to already existing one.
- AFK mining should stay because lots of ppl approve it.
- New mechanics would be more interactive and could allow 2 and more ppl to cooperate which would yield more ore.
- Moon mining in high sec with barges

Just few things i had in mind.

NPE needs to move away from scripted single shot missions. epic arcs were an okay version of this but they need to work on a modular system that works well for all combinations without breaking eve lore...

having a modular missioning system keeps things fresh and interesting as you can have <100 parts and itd make many thousands of combinations easily.

one thing we also need in eve is sound, i know many play without sound but i genuinely think a small programming team needs to go into the sound code to dispel any myth that sound on in eve adds to lag. tho if it is adding to lag, that needs to be addressed.

from the moment i started playing eve in a pve context, i found it soo odd that in this day and age that eve pve missions have litterally NO spoken parts (except for tutorials and the like). im sorry but sound is an integral part of a more immersive experience, and thats a requirement for making pve experiences more enthralling.

what we need along new PvE content are some more methods of finding players in those sites. Probes are very easy to detect with directional scanner and even the worst noob is aware of them already.

Yeah u r right. PVE needs to be enriched with sounds by a lot.

Missions needs to be non instanced (with no gates). Than d be easier to catch ppl in em.

For instance? I mean, there must be a source that says "we have xy bounce rates because PVE is not pleasing the casual player".

None said that PVE is not pleasing the casual players (but now when u mentioned it, i d agree with that sentence fully, because it jsut feels repeating and dull). I said that EVE doesnt retain lot of trials even tough its numbers have raised significantly (CCPs words).

My thoughts, suggestion is that the better PvE than we have now can straighten those numbers. Lots of ppl just want to log have 1-2 hours fun and log off and not everyone wants that fun to be in PvP.

I didnt mention the "Why" i think that PvE is the solution for retaining new players.

Well atm EVE PvE is so repeating and dull (not so much fun). I think everyone could agree with this. 99% of new players are coming from MMOs like WoW, Rift, GW, Aion, SWOTOR and many others that have a really nice established PvE content.

So ppl that come want to spend a bit of time in EVE and our only suggestion is joining a corp. Our sugestion is good but not everyone wants to be involved in politics, economics, war or even interact with other ppl ASAP. Even those that join might find a not so strong or organized corp.

Thats is why the PvE content. It will give lot of fun stuff to do for new players till they are familiar of how EVE works. And only then most of them will be ready to make the big step into the PvP world (corps).

OFC this will improve the gameplay for vets too, who are trying to earn isk for plexes and pvp ships.

When you first come into eve, what's the first thing you interact with? that's right, PVE. The PVP aspect of eve takes time to get into and most new players are trying to get the hang of the game before they interact with everyone. Adding a more dynamic and modular PVE system for missions into eve would definitely help people get into the game easier than just how it is now with the burn through missions to make money and get better stuff.
