A singular statement and a singular purpose.

While I do not believe the Empire, as a whole, has lost sight of its purpose, I do believe that we have been compromised.

Enemies hide within the shadows of the Empire's hierarchies and organizations, insurgents lurk around the corners of planets and asteroids, corruption has infested the heart of the Empire and snaked its tendrils into the deepest recesses of the spirit of the Amarr. For too long now these elements of wickedness and corruption have remained unchecked, finding safe harbor in the Empire, for too long have those in positions of authority and holding been allowed to compromise their station. Too often are the claims of the rebellion against the Empire justified by the activities and actions of self-proclaimed Imperial loyalists, too long has this negligence been allowed to choke the life out of the Empire and suffocate the voice of the righteous.

The Order of Light's Retribution was founded out of a perceived need to rectify these injustices. While the Ministry of Internal Order works tirelessly to purge the Empire of undesirable elements, it cannot be expected to stand alone, not in this age of encroaching darkness empowered by demented demigods and a blood culture in which sociopaths and psychopaths are commonplace and praised for their wealth and achievements. Inspired by the restoration of House Kor-Azor through the judgment of the Speakers of Truth, the Order of Light's Retribution will act to purge the Empire of the filth hiding within its domain and to defend this great Empire from enemies both domestic and foreign.

We cannot hope to fulfill the path placed before us if we cannot even cleanse ourselves of the sin hiding in our own closets. We cannot remove the unrighteousness from those outside of the fold if we cannot even see clearly because of our own blindness.

If this path leads me to isolation, standing alone against the infection that festers in the heart of the Empire then I will stand alone and when my soul stands before God in judgment, he alone will determine if the path I walked was one of righteousness and servitude or unrighteousness and arrogance. If instead there are those among you that would seek to walk this path beside me, then let us unite and do so with confidence, vigilance and fervor.

The Word of God is a light in darkness. It is time for its retribution.

Kindly go die in a reactor fire slaver scum. Your "religion" is a lie perpetuating an archaic and hypocritical empire built on the blood and tears of the billions abducted from homeworld after homeworld against their will. Your sanctimonious ranting isn't fooling anyone, and I for one can not wait until the day when the Minmatar finally wipe your kind from the face of New Eden once and for all.

How interesting. He looks Caldari, but he sounds Matari.

And he speaks madness. Nobody is going to get wiped from the face of New Eden.

As a freelance capsuleer currently in command of a long range hauler. I have come to see each of the four empires from a perspective perhaps broader than that of others. I've seen the condition of Matari refugees as my crew and I delivered antibiotics to them, their tired and war-weary faces not unlike those of Caldari soldiers fighting the Gallente Federation. Seeing time and again how alike the Amarr and Gallente are, and how similar the Minmatar and Caldari are, I've developed a deep respect for the tribes of Matar. I admire their culture, their rituals and traditions, and how the discipline of many of their warriors reminds me of the discipline of many Caldari.

Which is why it makes me ill when Imperial zealots spout their religious hypocrisy, because I know that for every waste of life Amarrian on here ranting about their god, there are thousands in space at this very moment destroying the lives of those they enslave. Ugh

You've opened this door yourself so bear with me. Holding up your experience as a cargo and freight transport captain as the justification for your behavior here, naturally, opens the door to everyone examining the depths of your experience. Of immediate note the most basic search reveals you to be an extremely new capsuleer with no registered employment records of any kind. Now, I'm certainly not going to say that this invalidates any of your statements or beliefs, but I'm sure you can understand that it does suggest that your broad perspective is perhaps only millimeters wider than the zealots you rail against.

I also think you should examine what you consider to be zealotry. The fact that you're attacking a man for announcing the start of an initiative to help bring about reforms within the Empire makes me wonder if you realize there even is a difference between a person of faith and a zealot. This Order of Captain Amith's is quite clearly aimed at addressing and preventing corruption and perversion of the faith. The man is announcing his intention to try and hold people accountable for committing abuses and atrocities in the name of God.

Captain Amith, I wish you the best of luck in this task. Far too often it seems fanaticism blinds otherwise well-meaning and pious people to the faults of the Empire and the errors of its people. The road ahead will not be level and clear. You will face opposition from the corrupt, those fooled and unawares of corruption, and those outsiders who believe it isn't possible for an Amarrian to also be a good person. If there are ways I can be of assistance do not hesitate to contact me.

You have said everything Azdan, but how it is that you expect to fulfill this so-called cleansing.

This is a fair question. The only answer I have to offer is that I will not back down from truth, I will not compromise righteousness and integrity in the face of opposition, I will not placate others (be they domestic or foreign) and I will not say one thing and do another.

I will do all that I am able to bring elements of corruption and unrighteousness to light, I will do all that I am able to oppose and remove them. Do I believe myself capable of accomplishing this alone? No. Do I believe myself perfect and able to judge all others? No. I can only do all that I am able and pray it is enough.

Miss Fehrnah,

You have been very gracious I thank you for your encouragement and your support. I will take you up on your generous offer if and when an opportunity presents itself.

May God shine his light on the faithful and bless the righteous.

Yes because logic dictates that Every Amarrian is a slaver (being a person who goes around 'collecting' slaves) and every Amarrian owns slaves...

Makes complete senses to me but I wonder if everyone who is Amarrian owns slaves and is a Slaver then who pray may I ask is doing all the other jobs that's the Amarr don't trust to slaves?

Food for thought

Darkness is more then absence of light, it is ignorance and corruption. I will be the Bulwark from such things that you may live in the light. Pray so my arms do not grow weary and my footing remain sure.

If you are brave, join me in the dark.

No, he's clearly a Gallente plant. Just like Diana Kim.

Clearly.

Proof positive is that he makes Caldari look bad. Denial is useless, and evidence to the contrary obviously planted by Federal intelligence.

Wait, now that I think about it, we may have this one wrong.

He's actually a Jovian plant. Why?

Because he makes all of humanity look bad.

Don't you understand? This man pilots a Badger Mk. II. It's given him a breath of perspective and insight you could never hope to achieve.

To be fair, the standard viewscreens on non-capsuleer versions of the Mk II are HUGE.

Oh, I kept those installed in mine, I just moved them to the crew lounge. They have been very appreciative! I could practically feel them cheering through my skin during the last Skyball conference.

Father Amith;

You have my greatest hopes and wishes for your task. It will be a difficult one, undoubtedly. You will be beset with enemies on all sides, and scorn will be heaped upon you. Despite this, I know that you will find success and joy in the work. Good luck and may God bless your efforts.

No, not really. Because orderly conduct is boring to me. Stirring the pot, seeing chaos erupt, anger, whatever, it entertains me.
