Anyone who knows me knows I'm am the nulliest of null bears. While i enjoy low sec/FW , WH and some high sec pve content, I love null pve in almost all its forms (*grumble damn null sec incursion frigates killing my ships grumble*). I have 2 anom/plex ratting toons, 1 toon that can pull pirate lvl 4 missions and a number of carrier capable and cyno generating toons to make moving about easier without having to rely to much on my corp mates.

Well, null being null my ratting grounds are now crawling with goon-types and my time in game is a bit more taken up with CTA Fleet ops. What I've usually done in these situations was fit cloaks to my exploration and ratting ships, found a quiet corner of null full of anoms and radars people don't do and have at it (occasionally logging on my faction warfare or wormhole toons for something different). But due to some real life time constraints and honestly feeling a touch of burn out shooting the same guristas rats over and over, I decided to do something I haven't done since 2007.

I moved my 2 null sec ratting toons to empire to run lvl 4 missions....

WOW is all I can say, while missions are still far behind null sec anoms in terms of isk (as they should be imo) and ease of use (no docking required , just spam d-scan lol) the UI changes making missions easier to get to without having to juggle multiple things like the journal and people/places are just bloody wonderful. One of the things that kept me from going back to my "1st profession" (mission running) was the shear tediousness of the whole thing.

While some things are still rather tedious (like having to dock to turn in a mission even though there is nothing you have to hand over to the agent (because a universe that developed faster than light travel never invented CELL PHONES), mission running is now LOADS easier than what I remember.

Thanks CCP, job well done. I'll head back out to null with those ratting toons soon (already feeling the itch), but now the idea of having to go back to empire if my alliance looses space is not so terrible dreadful anymore.

Now get to work on those cell phones lol.

I've only PvPed so far in EvE, but because of my current situation I can only use terribly slow DSL internet.

So I was forced into doing lvl4s and I thought they would be boring and suck ... but so far it isn't too bad.

Now only if they were a bit more intresting and didn't have those laggy gas clouds everywhere.

I agree and I also don't understand the need to dock to complete or request a mission that doesn't require turning in items. I thought that we had some advanced technology going on in EVE... lol
