Drones: All drones should have racial resists and T2 resists for T2 Drones
T2 Sentry Drones should require racial drone specialization and thus gain damage bonus from it.
T2 Fighters: Velovity and tracking increased by +20%
T2 Bombers: Increase Optimum range by +20%
T2 EWAR, Web Drones, and Energy Vampire Drones: Velocity, Optimum range +20%
Separate ECM drones into 4 racial Varations Here
Add Salvage Drones Soon(tm)
Switch the Amarr drone and the Minmatar drone damage multulplier making the following true
Damage
1st Gallente
2nd Caldari
3rd Amarr
4th Minmatar
Velocity
1st Minmatar
2nd Amarr
3rd Caldari
4th Gallente
Balance drone damage by up-ing either the base damage or the damage multliplier to bring drone boats inline with other ship DPS
Apply drone interfacing bonus to the total effectiveness of all drones; HP, Damage, Repair Amount, Stasis Web amount, Energy Neutralizer amount, ect...

Tier Optimum range:
T1 Small 1000m T2 Small 1200m

Another idea to make drones a better weapon system could also be to make them all have the same tracking and speed to their according size and only make their damage em, thermal, explosive, kinetic as their drone hull suggests.
That would give drone boats the ability to choose damage as they like and make a lot of drones actually usefull in return.

In addition to that all drones should get a serious tracking and orbitting speed buff - and heavy drones shall no longer miss cruisers.

As for fighters, I leave them out of that discussion since I don't have much experience with them.

The reason behind leaving tracking and speed alone is there EHP is different for each race, this balances each drone, the fastest drone has the least ehp the slowest drone has the most ehp

It wouldn't be usable on frigates without a drone bay, anyways, and the bandwidth would stay the same so there's virtually no difference other than the fact that they could carry more damage types.

And this is why we have open forums, I thought it was ok, maybe it is not, after seeing what the rebalanced drone frig has for extra space, maybe only +10 for T1 znd +15 for T2

The drone navigation computer description is very misleading as the bonus the the newtons suggests it works better for small drones, it would be better with the description stating it is a static velocity increase such as,
T1 +20% drone velocity, T2 +30% drone velocity.

amarr and caldari drones are useless and that is a problem. Minmitar drones are very fast and gallente do the most damage. Buff amarr to be fast like minmitar and caldari to be heavier hitting.

There needs to be a skill that increases drone tracking by 5-10% per level.

Its annoying to see drones not able to hit a target when it is rapidly orbiting which negates its own tracking.

If all drones got gallentes damage multiplier x1.6 for t1 and x1.92 for t2 would help. There individual speed and EHP would keep them balanced

I fail to understand how introducing T2 fighters/fighter bombers is going to help subcapital drone ships at all, which are honestly the ones with more problems than carriers.
