Mackinaw: How are you fitting it?

Just curious how people are fitting this ship now: Ore, Ice, Merc (?) with the rigs, tank and so on?

I have been using it for ore so far, and no ore rig needed, using overclocking rigs and CPU implant to fit with the standard 5% yield implant... good shield tank and a DCU, with a couple of upgrades and then a mix of miner and defensive drones.

Seems to be it lends itself to a pretty standard fit if you want a passive (active) tank of hardeners and then a recharger or two to keep everything going. Strips are standard and the lows MLUs with DCU pretty cookie cutter, the mids seem to have a little to play with - buffer, passive or even active tank options.

So has anyone found a "best" fit yet? curious to see them on the forums/loudouts. If you have a fav setup fire it off, I guess any barge or exhumer or even orca fits if you want to share them since the patch, how is fitting working out for you? EFT2.16 is up.

Pretty standard tanked ice Mack:

T2 harvesters, standard shield mods and suitcase. Close to 42k EHP with implants and siege warfare link bonus from Orca. Cool

Here is my setup, it is not optimized for either survival or yield, but a bit of both. If you want to fit another MLU in the lows you can probably just reduce the mids to Tech 1 versions or swap out the DCUII. It is cap stable with my skills bottoming out around 50%. It shows 35.5k EHP in EFT.

If you can't destroy tanked Mackinaw there's something seriously wrong with you.

If you're serious ganker, destroy tanked (40k+ EHP) Mack and post killmail.

How many catalysts does that take? lol... or is that a couple of BCs at whatever their price is now... whats the ISK to KM ratio now? because I haven't seen alot of ganking lately, don't think people want to pay-to-play for just KMs with real money especially for barges... not even a fun pvp, it's just dumb to me... Look ma' I am a super-stud, I killed a bunch of unarmed helpless ships... me dah mann!.. *derp*

number 1 with a list of lame kills...lol... a record of fail... I suppose that is win for some, like a guy that goes to prison and says I beat up 1000 10-year-olds in my time... and then gets his clock cleaned by a real killer that strings up his intestines like tinsel.
