I did post a ticket about this, 3 days ago.. Given the circumstances i want it solved asap, so here's the post.

I was sitting in my system (included in ticket) handling some stuff, decided to manufacture 50 something strip miner I's, was missing 2 pieces of Megacyte.

Bought 2 off market, displayed a price of 2214 each or something like that, (total 4428) which was fair given the last quantity.

Pressed buy.

50 mil per piece of megacyte was withdrawn from my wallter (100mill total)

Please, do fix.

As said, specific details are in the ticket.

So, i got a reply from the game master, saying that he can't do anything but that i could try mailing the guy with the market order, asking for my money back (fat chance)..

I know it's only 100m but i'm seriously considering ditching my accounts here...

Being primarily industrial, i'm seeing a flaw that can cost me tens of millions when buying from an order, which is being ignored, as a huge deal-breaker.

You hit a market scam. Are you sure the decimal point was in the right place?

Good helpful hint is to always look closely at what you buy, sort smallest to highest in price.

You'd be surprise how many people don't double check the price when buying straight off the market. It's actually probably a more effective scam than all the people spamming local with fail contracts.

Unless you have a screenshot showing that it was the game that messed up, there is nothing ccp can do. You brought it, if you didn't pay attention, it's your fault.

I am sure, GM confirmed that the order i bought from was in fact at the price i thought it was.
According to gm, i manually punched in 50,000,000 on the order.. Suffice to say, i did not.

I made my living trading from tutorial and until i hit my first 2b, i pay attention to what i am buying at which price.

There is plenty of things ccp can do, it's a question of willingness..

And no, it would not be unfair of ccp to undo the transaction, as previously stated, the order was for a few thousand, it was not a scam and the seller was never supposed to receive those money.
