So, assuming the OP is actually from the United Kingdoms; you are an excellent example of how the people of cultures are diverse. Such as you're the portion of the UK which thinks the Euro is the only real currency, like very few people in the United States believe the dollar is the only real currency.

Not literally by the way, but hopefully you're bright enough to get the point.

Not everyone is a bigot in the United States, similar to how not everyone is a bigot in the United Kingdoms. There are just a few, like you.

And you, the bigot, are the people who make some stereotypes. Luckily before now however the bigots in the United Kingdoms for some reason were smart enough to keep quiet, in contrast to the American.

Hopefully you're bright enough to know that the UK doesn't use the Euro; we're still using the Pound.

Metric? If the UK won't accept the Euro, what makes you think they would accept a foreign ruler?

He is right on our education... Everybody is winner!!! We do embrace mediocrity, and you can't tell people when their **** ups. In games though... I don't know maybe the games I play, but everyone seems to act the same v. say hardcore asian games which grinding is considered acceptable..or say redundant keying A.K.A starcraft hot keying.

Could be that I play more pc online than console to notice a distinct difference online... Personally I've always found failure to be a better teacher. I might be past the curve on that though...See the above.

True about embracing mediocrity. Well, among Americans of a certain social demographicat least. (There are still some rural or more blue collar people who will b.s. b.s., and no apologies about it). Here's a good article from the Atlantic about the "culture of self-esteem first" in America.

If you're from the US, I want to know why you're playing EVE despite the "problem" of the game punishing the player for failure.

well since more americans play eve then europeans no one cares what you think, america is a melting pot. we have everything Europe is Europe. most Europeans games are about co-op and racing
most american games are about.... well.... everything.
we got lots of shooters, some of the best RPGs and a few racers and RTSs

I am sure some no named game dev from Europe is just but hurt that americans didn't like their game.

Actually we figured out it was some no name dev from the US who makes racing games. Pretty close though.

Too be fair he was interviewed in Europe for a euro mag. Bit of marketing. Last i checked hating on the U.S. is big business over there. Then again maybe he is legitimate with his statements. Not sure if he moved out of the US or not.
