and more on topic, cos I don't wanna give too much away (I kinda like suicide gankers they bring much tears), Orca has a ship maintenance bay.

Scammers are currently selling killrights on this toon for up to 5mil, if you have paid for this service demand your money back at once.

Procurer - buff the shield resists. Rig for shield and Em resistance. Ready with decent tank. (Around 50k EHP on my med-well skilled high sec mining alt)
Retriever - DCU in low, Adaptive Invul Field in mid, Rig for shield and EM resistance. Ready with decent tank.(around 17k EHP on my med-well skilled high sec mining alt)
Covetor - Use in a fleet with remote shield/armor support (shield has more buffer so might be the way to go) and expect to possibly lose it anyhow. Put an invul Field in the mid, rig for shield and EM resistance. Might be enough with support. Solo = high expectation of ganking.(about 10k EHP on my med-well skilled high sec mining alt)

Putting a bit of tank on these ships is not hard, you don't lose much in total mining ability and makes it much tougher for a solo ganker. I don't know why any miner would whine about these ships now, they are all completely useful in their little niches. My current high sec mining alt is using a Retriever and might not even bother with the Mack when he gets the skills for the ship. A Retriever works well enough itself and isn't so expensive. You can make back the isk you spend on it fairly quickly, while still having a decent tank.

Edit: this should probably be in ships and modules section (I think that is what it is called?)

As a highsec ganker pilot, I have to say that these are some of the worst suggestions I've heard. Seriously. The whole point of an Orca is two fold. To give mining bonuses and to act as an ore dump so that the miners don't have to leave the belt.

With your "ideas", the ore dump is completely thrown out. CCP is also planning on changing fleet boosting bonuses to only be applicable while on grid. That means you can't hide in a safespot and give bonuses, so that "idea" is crap too.

Rocking slightly over 100k on my skiffs and 250k on my orca. Come get me faggots.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

Please Note: Any advice given comes with the caveat that nothing will be suitable for every situation.
