Can anyone from CCP explain to me why are ammarian cyno alts discriminated? Yes i know, you just need one more cheap t1 expander and thats it. But other races dont need it and sometimes in null even this minor matter means logistical problem. i know that rookie ships are not intended for cynoing, but majority of cyno alts using it. Why s***ting on ammar? What?

perhaps the intention isn't for these ships to act as free cyno ships

Noob ships are not designed around the ability to fit cynos, CCP already said as much. They are NOOB ships. Get over it.

Are we still going on about this? You can still fit a cyno on an Impairor, it just needs a (GASP) CARGOHOLD EXPANDER.

I live in null and I don't see this as a great logistics problem.

In any case, what's wrong with spending a couple hundred thousand ISK on a T1 frig and using that as your cyno?

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

also, since inferno 1.2 was released you could have finished training a new cyno alt by now

remap int/mem, train electronics V, cyno IV, done

We're considering cyno usage a side issue for the rookie frigs in that we won't do anything to discourage it but we won't design specifically for it either. The best bet is probably to just stock cheap expanded cargoholds with your cynogens and ozone anyways so you can use cyno 3 alts for all of them. The fact that our changes will drop the requirement to stock MAPCs in your cyno hangers is one of those unintended but perfectly fine side effects.

The different size cargoholds is to account for holding ammo while doing the kind of missions we are building the frigs for.

Do we really need to go through this topic again?

It's the price you pay for having hooded robes.

Post with your monkey.
