Yup, Goonswarm is ruling New Eden accept for a few stubborn donkeys like myself.

So, no, no competition. No Plexes.
Clearly more exhumers should be shot out of the sky in highsec.
People still prefer to play EvE as if they are playing Runescape.

Same threads on the forums to if they get shot at.


Waste of time.
EvE is a sandbox, not PvP perse, but a sandbox does mean you cannot avoid it.

You play your way, but others play their way, the beauty lies right there.
One should accept that and have fun with it. (which is something entirely different from pushing others to play how these guys want you to)
Specially when options are handed to you over and over again and this principle has been explained over and over again.

If you can not accept that, I truly think people are right in saying, maybe this game is not for you.

Because most complains are not valid if you truly stand behind the sandbox principle.

For example, I find exploring nul-sec exciting, but also hauling 3B loads through highsec.....why.....because you might get blown up. If that was not there, there would be better games to play.

I will not go as far as saying that carebearing is not a valid gameplay.
It is, but so is shooting the exhumer, deal with it.


I feel like donkey for even trying to lower the threshold for a revenge.

I can look into the possibilities of providing videos to meet your requirements. Sadly, I was hoping you'd want videos of large Goon Fleets going down, which I may be able to provide, but that does not seem to fit what you are looking for? One such video may be coming up shortly... I am in the war zone as we speak...

Few problems with your suggestion:
There are few/no goon mining ops.
An Ihub has a ref timer so impossible to kill without help.
A 'small' goon fleet is ~50 dudes so gl small corps.

Look, most of us aren't even going to bother with alts. Whenever it starts to look sour in a fleet fight I put drones on the FC so I can get on the killmail.

Greetings, friendly neighbourhood troll.

If you want to take the fight to them, that is exactly what you should do.

Go harass them out in their seats of operation (in nullsec).

They would probably welcome it too, as you bring PvP- and griefing opportunities to their doorstep.

The problem is that in today's EVE they are not dependent upon their space or ships in that space, instead they are dependent upon hitpoint-based structures, with alot of hitpoints.

Those are balanced in a manner that assume an arms-race of resources, so any DIY attempt is inborn fruitless and whatever experience you will be given, is given at their whim. It could be awesome, especially with Goons who often like to play, but it's out of your control despite your initiative. You do not create the content.

When you realize this you become disillusioned, bitter and grumpy with the developers who have failed to act upon that crucial aspect of the core gameplay.

Then you begin to make long posts with fancy words, and reminisce days of yore Roll.
