I am at the moment figuring out our moon harvesting setup, I am going up to a complex reaction.

Although I am running short on CPU and was wondering if it is possible to dump moon materials direcly into a simple reactor array without a silo inbetween.

this would safe me 1000 CPU on my POS.

Yes you can put a moon miner straight into a reactor

Might not be a bad idea to add a Coupling Array if you have enough spare cpu left over Blink

I disagree, a coupling array is almost always a bad idea.

The only thing it does is add a bit of extra storage and prevent you from losing anything to having the silo offline while youre taking stuff out.

The best idea is to memorize when your POS(s) do their tick and not do tower maintenance then. IE they tick at 20 minutes past the hour, so we wont do tower maintenance from 10 minutes past the hour until 25 minutes past the hour.

superb.

thanks a lot this will safe me from having to need a 4th tower :D.

How will I notice when it ticks though. I just need to keep checking for an hour long and then write it down or is it shown somewere?

Check your calendar. Note the time on the POS running out of fuel.
