Need help with four ships build for comparison.

Hi all, sadly my Tengu that I have been saving and training for is going to have to be put on hold, due to being suicide gank'ed very bad. >_<

So I am looking into Pirate Faction ships to fly to do solo wormholes, missions, and complexes. I have narrowed it down to four ships to fly, Gila, Rattlesnake, Phantasm, and Nightmare.

So do you all out there have any Fits for those four ships that could do wormholes, missions, and complexes. I can keep the Salvager, Tractor Beam, Codebreaker, and Analyzer all in the ships hull so when needed I can run back and refit.

So do you all have anything for me, I am just looking to collect fittings to look over and compare for ideas as come up with something that I can fly in my style.

Please give me fits, not directions as to what to look for, unless I can see the way fits work for my self I'll just get confused. That is why I ask for fits so as to make sense of it all.

A decent enough Tengu is cheaper than a good RS or NM...

I had a big long thing written out but you asked for fits and not directions, so my thoughts are this:

Pirate Faction Battleships shouldn't go in wormholes solo. Not if you want to keep them, anyway.
Phantasm needs a slot layout change before it can really be useful.
Gila's drones will die in wormholes.

Basically, I wouldn't use any of these ships for all three roles. Nightmare I would use for missions, Gila for complexes. For wormholes I would use a t1 battlecruiser, command ship, or t3.

Ok, thanks Vrykolakasis and Corina Jarr, so Vrykolakasis, do you have any good Phantasm and Gila fits for me to use till I can get enough saved up, and my skills retrained up enough again to get my hands on a Tengu? Also Corina Jarr do you have any good Wormhole Tengu fits?

If you can't keep a tengu alive then you have no chance of keeping a faction ship alive. Buy a drake and actually try to make a profit from a wormhole.

I heard the Golem is really good for wormholes, it gets a tractor beam bonus for those faraway wrecks. You don't have to risk a Noctis!

I did not loose a Tengu Maeltstome, I was saving up for one, and I was one skill level away from being able to use it too. Than I got suicide ganked and was set back by 700,000 skill points and over double that in ISK. I'm now rebuilding my losses.

So you don't even know how to upgrade a clone? Definitely wouldn't advise flying a faction ship.

Maeltstome I know how to upgrade a clone, What I did like an idiot was for got to upgrade it, I did not realize that I forgot to upgrade till after I got ganked. I was so focused on salvaging that I did not realize I was playing with fire. This time around I'm playing it safer and slower.

I'll see what I can find. I'm not a Tengu person, so what I make should be taken with a grain of salt... not a shield person either... make that a brick of salt.

Ok Corina Jarr, but if your not comfortable fitting a Tengu for me, what ship would you feel comfortable with than, Golem, Drake, etc. Fit what you think would do the trick.

Flew domis, myrms and ishtars in wormholes for years. Never lost a drone to sleepers. Don't be bad and you can use drones just as well as anything else.

Ok, than Dorian Wylde do you have any Ishtar or Gila fits that would do me well? If so I'd love the help. Also Zhilia Mann thanks again. Honestly I'm thinking that when I can at some point, of having up to three Tengu's in reserve, one for plexes, one for missions, and one for wormholes. Seems like a solid way to work towards.

Ok, so after running the numbers and talking to people that have done high level complexes/missions and wormholes. I have two options, 1. build four ships, one for missions, one for complexes, one for wormholes, and one to go and salvage the wrecks I leave behind or, 2. Build a all in one ship that can only do low level PvE.

I'm going with the first option seeing that running back and forward is a small price to pay, I'm also looking to make the builds Cruisers seeing that that class of ships seems to have the most flexible options for this kind of work. With that said, is there a way to get it down to three ships that can do the respective work and be equipped to do the work that the forth would do or a way to build a ship that would be good at both Complexes and Missions at the same time, or is it better to stick with the four ship model?

Also when it comes to the three PvE types of Complexes, Missions, and Wormholes. Does anyone have any good builds That would be stealth, fast, Omni-Tanked, snipers. Would for the Complexes and/or Missions a drone boat help?

Lastly what would be a good ship that can do all the clean-up of salvaging the wrecks, code-breaking, and analyzing. Yet still be armed enough to survive being out alone? I was thinking of again a Drone Boat that uses the drones to make up for the loss in DPS from the other equipment.
