Scanning plexes with a "normal" ship

Hi,

I've always scanned for plexes with a cov ops, but I'd like to start by just doing it from a hac. With an implant and a sisters launcher I get a base scan strength of .74. How well will this let me scan for plexes in 0.0? Is there a maximum I can scan, like for instance would I be able to scan a 10/10?

Also, what about the speed of scanning things? Will I just spend hours looking at probes or is it doable?

Thanks in advance.

Level 4 skills, some gravity capacitor rigs, a 6% hardwiring, sisters launcher + sisters probes + using 7 probes while scanning and you should be able to do it.

To give some numbers: with 74 you probably won't be able to pin the lowest strength signatures (like 10/10). Aim for around 80 and you can scan down all sites (might need maximum probes and a bit of repositioning, but it works). That is at least from my experience.

as it fitts somewhat in here, what strenght would I need to find 4/10 complexes?
Is it possible, within a reasonable frame, with T1 probes/launcher and skills on 4 with perhaps one rig?

Thanks for the numbers! I've got the skills at 4, sisters probes/launcher and a 6% implant to give me that and I can't stick rigs on the ship since they're already used.

I'll see what I can do to bump it up to .80, once again thanks for the info!
