Oh man, this gives me the faint hope that you're going to make ratting bounties give less ISK and instead give Concord LP to fix the isk inflation problem without harming the tenuously better than highsec null ratting income.

Regardless, just answering in the scope of your question:

Is there a faction that has a scan resolution "pirate implant" set? That seems to fit for CONCORD.

Expanding your implant market even beyond the existing hardwirings for sale seems like an important thing for a generalist LP store.

Maybe further "generalist" hardwirings, we already have one that increase all turret damage, for example. A +2% (4%?) shield AND armor AND structure implant that goes for the price of a 6% shield implant, maybe.

I'll echo the "better than meta 4 named" idea that a player proposed earlier even if they were unknowingly basically describing what faction items are. Maybe they were expecting them to be worse than tech II and really cheap but I think you really could introduce a variety of faction concord items that are less effective than the NPC navy or pirate faction equivalents but still better than tech II. Bargain faction equipment, essentially, with all the usual benefits (fitting ease etc) but not as cost-effective as T2.

CORCORD Bounty Hunter License

Available in 1 day, 1 week, 1 month and 1 year sizes.

Licensed bounty hunters may engage in combat with any target carrying a bounty regardless of system security level without CONCORD intervention stepping in to protect said known & wanted criminal.

A different type of armor hardener, that provides a very large boost to one or more armor resistances but at a very, very high capacitor cost (think 2-3 times the cap per second requirement of a large armor repair).
Basically something you could turn on when you are primaried, an armor alternative to the emergency defence provided by the ASB.

BPCs of weapon damage modules (i.e. BCUs, Heat Sinks, etc.) that match or exceed the best faction module.

And there's the problem. What is CONCORD's marketing strategy?

a) If they compete on quality, then they risk crashing the corresponding faction/officer market.

b) If they want to compete on price, then they risk undermining Faction Warfare. This could result in insanely cheap faction items (and annoyed FW players,) or CONCORD's prices wouldn't be competitive enough to worth getting.

If they make CONCORD items cheap enough to use in PvP while providing (near) comparable T2 performance then they risk the wrath of the T2 manufacturers. If CONCORD items aren't roughly as good as T2, then folks won't buy them.

c) Niche market
Provide unique items (i.e. CONCORD damage control units.)

Fill a gap. CONCORD weapons that match meta 1-4 weapons (creating a more reliable supply for players and T2 manufacturers.) Or CONCORD items that fall between faction and officer items (however, price might be an issue, on the other hand, having a reliable supply might bring prices down.)

CONCORD weapons that provide a better stat (such as faction blasters that have noticeably more range, but with reduced damage.)

d) Convenience - Acquiring/building T2, faction, officer, etc., items can be logistically challenging. If CONCORD can provide equivalent units more easily in remote locations, then their might be a market for them. After all, items at your local convenience store are expensive, but they're closer than your grocery store. However, this would mean that CONCORD would need to be everywhere.

tl;dr - Ask an MBA.

CONCORD modified hulls. I know we can't get CONCORD ships, but some new or funky hulls would be awesome, if only for aesthetics. There's only so many times you can stare at the same ship. I'd love to see a CONCORD retrofitted Raven or Abaddon.

Requires all racial Industrial Skills to 4, maybe has a bonus to the use of remote ECM bursts or cloaked speed or whatever.

I'd like to see some sort of Concord probe launcher and bubbles that make it impossible for people to cloak up in.
Or an anchorable bubble that pevents cloaking up for the use in 0.2 systems and below Big smile

There should be Concord booster (or another one-time-use consumable) that completely removes without SP reimbursement one known skill from character skill list.

I'm not the only one who wants to get rid of embarrassing skills like F.O.F or Defender Missiles or any other skills from early character history that not related to current playstyle (like pro-PVPers with mining skills, for example).

Make the price reasonable to prevent accident usage.

I think an active ECM countermeasure module would be pretty cool and fit with the Concord mentality.
Basically the module would use small cap boosters (25 or 50) and work much like ASBs currently do, and their effect would be to break all current jams on the user, and provide a brief immunity from being rejammed to the tune of one jammer cycle, or for a time defined by the size of the cap charges you are using. I would really emphasize the immunity portion due to the fact ships often field multiple staggered jammers, which would render the module useless in the situations it would make the largest difference (Solo or small gang when suddenly falcon alt)

As for fitting, it would be interesting to see one for each slot to allow for all types of fits to accommodate it, with it being limited to 1 per ship, but that may be too ambitious.

Some very good ideas in this thread. If you are going to do this, make concord LP stores DIFFERENT!
Maybe a concord interceptor that is extremely fast, has great tank and web / scram ability but has very little in the way of firepower.

I like alot of the ideas already said in the last few pages..

* Faction ammo designed for sasha and other pirates
* A licience to use boosters for a set time (length of booster duration maybe?) in high sec.

* Faction hulls of concord. This "HAS" to come in. I heard its the new law in certain countrys! maybe make it so it has certain roles rather then pure DPS.

* Love the idea of concord uniform

* Concord implants. say +1 to all attributes and pluged in slot 6-10 (only 1 ofc) or like the new faction implants that give more than one bonus. Or a implant that reduces sig radius?
* Concord modules. I dont think turrets as they have to many tier lvls already but modules which have very little variations. (Large remote reppers maybe?)

* Concord probes which have higher strength than normal and are combat versions.

* Concord licience which increases bountys from killing player pirates. If the player has no bounty (another words dies to much) then a set bounty is given for handing in the corpse. (i quite like the idea of being enroled to concord to fight player pirates)

* A device that can stop cargo scanning or a set period. E.g u have to activate it 2-3 sec duration maybe

* Concord Fleet links

I like the idea of your own combat colours for your ships or at first preset colours which u can choose from. anythign to make your ship stand out and be shot at first! (and go from there! who knows maybe bring out a paint stray in stations so u can paint your own ships. make them so u can trade it or give to other players? like military uniforms! be able to make fleets all the same colour regardless of there ship. give the appearance of an organised unit...)

On the subject of Concord faction hulls. maybe make them a little like t3 and has subsystems for them? changing there effectivness in certain sitautions.

DON'T bring out modules that decloaks ships... we have them already. Smart bombs and another ship under 2km away ;) if u cant decloak a ship... learn :D

I'm also liking the idea of a naked pic of kate bekinsdale... not to sure how far that will come

The only Concord items that are unique to the Concord store are the saturated meta 2 Capitol BPC's no? Cant the 6% 'plants be found in other places now or am I mistaken? I sort of like the Concord LP conversion & hope it does not get taken away but with the FW Tier 4&5 ISK discounts it seems to be no longer an ISK maker but a cost cutter that is rarely used now.
Are the shieldies that are rolling in HQ LP happy or do they feel like they are getting the short end of the stick?

There is a couple things I would like to see in the concord store.

These are just things I would like, that would help me, as a logistics pilot, or because I would like.

1. New logistic reppers
2. NEW drones, for example concord issue hogs, warrs, etc (would be on par with augmented drones) maybe even sentries
or maybe even smarter drones (rep drones that automatically select targets (downfall, is that they would heal the same but required level 5 in all related skills)
3. New damage control, same stats as dc II, but lower cpu or something.
4. concord ABs and MWDs, again maybe same stats but lower cpu or pg The mods would change the color of your engine trail... yea I know sounds hot.
5. A souped of scanner would be cool to... lol concord police scanner

T2 launchers and t2 ammo would deploy an entire paint job on a hull. Imagine annoying the fsck out of that ganker by giving his ship a custom My Little Ganker / Hello Jerkwad paint job.

Inline with the police role of CONCORD:

CONCORD security details - different sizes (1,2 or 4 ships), different durations (1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes)
When activated will assign a number of ships to you as fleet for the specified duration. These ships will travel with you and protect you wherever you go, including low & null sec.
Usefull for crashing gate camps and short transports through dangerous systems

CONCORD allert
When activated will redirect a CONCORD patrol to your current location where they will patrol for a while until they are redirected to their next patrol location.
Usefull for extra protection when you suspect the new arriving ship(s) to be (scouts for) gankers, but also for gankers to draw patrols away from a location they just hit
