What ever happened to them putting moon gold in wh?It was suppose to happen when they added it over 2 years ago but pulled it becuase of deadline to patch.Think we could finally finish that?

Horrible idea because:

1. W-space has no need for additional income, T3 and current resources make enough ISK for them to sustain themselves.
2. Will negatively effect prices on current market due to w-space moongoo floods.

It was never promised nor intended for wormholes to have "moongold". The reason we were told is because it would take away some purpose of null sec. If we can get everything from wormholes, why would we ever need or want to go to null sec.

The only thing that should be added to WH space is ice. If people want to be self sufficient 100% they should be allowed to be.

But moon goo? No thats a k-space thing. Don't kid yourself.

Eh... you do realize that wormholes are null, right? Actually, they're -1.0.

However... the last thing we need in holes is goo. It would be that much more to have to deal with when there's plenty. Hell, a pos can't handle a T3 industrial operation alone without having to keep turning things off and on.

I appreciate the sentiment, but it isn't necessary.

Unless, of course, there's a new type of goo that can be used to fuel pos's instead of ice products...

I support this.

Between PI and Ice, it would allow WH Corps/Alliances to pretty much shut out the outside world while still having a very high risk/reward ratio.

Isn't an idea.was suppose to be in the patch for wh.If you were around when that happened.Why wouldn't moons have mins?

The only peeps that it would negatively effect is the alliance leaders. And with an ever expanding player base its just not smart to have a set number of moons without adding some every once and awhile to account for more players.Right around the time of wh they had talked about making moons upgradable to whatever you wanted.Seeding moons is better than that option.







As the person responsible for seeding moon materials I can tell you that the status of that question was always ''Unknown'' until we decided on ''No'' and my pants increased in happy.CCP Prism X

It wasn't dropped because of deadlines, it was considered and then explicitly removed because of balance concerns.

Let's split the difference.

Lunar Ice deposits.

In order to mine them you need a simialr setup to moon goo processing, this makes it a decision as to what's at the pos and what's active. Would promote multiple pos's per corp in holes as well.

Worth pondering at least...
