Could someone please tell me what "cld" means? At first I thought it was a keyboard error, but then I saw that he could write words like would and sound.

What could "cld" mean?

On a non-troll, serious, note: By chance did you use any of this shorthand when contacting customer service for a game that is run in a country where English is not the primary language? As angry as you are, I would recommend a fresh start across the board to make sure that what you are saying is bone-dry clear English to avoid any confusion.

This message brought to you by Experience(tm). When common sense fails you, experience will come to the rescue. Experience(tm) from the makers of CONCORD.

I'm curious - where did you get the 23 bil in the first place to buy a toon? You've been marked down that amount, so regardless of the toon's history it seems that CCP is tracking that amount of isk.

Did you, perchance, RMT that isk? Because it 's very likely to have been stolen from a hacked account (leastwise, that's what the security devblogs have taught me) and IF THIS IS THE CASE, I have neither sympathy nor interest in seeing your situation reverted to pre isk removal.

If you DID come by that isk honestly, by PLEX or mindless grinding years of mining, then I sympathize and hope you receive a satisfactory conclusion.

Very curious about that 23 bil.

Didn't you just answer your own question?

Also, @OP, good luck getting your ISK back. CCP really needs to crack down on botters recycling their characters this way.

So does this mean the guy who did RMT/botting just got a new character on the same account and is free to go on?

Never read a wall of text half asleep.

So okay, I know where the 23 bil comes in - whoever bought the first char off him ought to be getting a good look from team security, and I'd hope he'd get his first char back.

This is one of the many cases proving that brown nosing threads like this are a joke.

As I said in there, you get acceptable petition response times only for the menial stuff, when serious stuff happens you are boned for 2 weeks to 2+ months before you even get the first reply. Reply from a junior GM of course, so you will have to wait 2 more weeks when of course he proves unable to do anything and starts the obvious escalation.

I had quicker response times on an EA MMO, and I am really mentioning a company with ultra-extra low standards here.

Be careful when transferring large amounts of isk in EVE. An alliance member moved around a billion isk between two of his toons and got it confiscated and a toon locked until he managed to sort it out (took about a week), reason given is that is what RMT do so they had to check it. On the other hand within our corporation we regularly move billions of isk arounf through the corporate wallet without any problems.

If you cannot do a petition without blaiming ccp for everything that happened you do not deserve to be helped by those same people... If you have not done anything wrong CCP are normally very protective about character transfering and RMT issues.

Said it before. characters sells are now to dangerous to get involved in. Even if you get your money back, you won't be reimbursed for the time you lost with a useless character. This post will most likely be deleted by the ISD to cover up whats going on. So read it quick and take it serious.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

This sounds very bizarre. It makes wonder how safe it is to purchase toons. Does this kind of thing happen a lot?

I would personally want to see the records or audit trail they are using to accuse you.

Yes!

You would think in a game where most people have several account transferring money between your characters wouldn't be such a problem

imo if they drag it out and you can prove you're innocent with facts, do what a previous poster said and get a lawyer if you want anything done quickly. You aren't here to be buddy buddy with a company, you're here to get a service you paid for and, if you ARE innocent and not getting that service, you have a lot of legal rights open now. It doesn't matter if CCP might not favor you or send your requests through legal. If it takes a shove with a lawyer and a lawsuit, do it. E-mail an Icelandic attorney and get the ball rolling.

A lawyer. Really? You want to waste even more time and now real money on game pixels on a screen you own zero, nada nunka off? Which you agreed completely upon by ticking the 'yes' box when you started up the game? Shocked

The minute I start paying for a service, I pay for the services of their server and, if I am unjustly cut off from that in a way to make the game unplayable AND I can prove I was cut off unjustly, you can bet your arse I would. I've played this damn game for 5+ years and I'd fight tooth and nail if they tried to just wipe out all my work. No way in hell.

The way to deal with CCP is to be calm with your petitions and provide as much details as you can about the issue in question. If you believe you are not getting the proper response ask for your petition to be escalated to the next in line. All while being polite about the issue and honest about it.

Except with CCP Guard, you can get lippy with him, he maybe small but he can take it.
