The devs already said that they want to expand on the T3, beginning with frigates. However, not sooner than 2014 (and if thats the earliest estimate, you can probably count on some time later). So no need to speculate about that in the foreseeable future.

And i suppose that´s quite fine like this because balancing issues of the current lineup should be addressed beforehand.

I got lost in thought... it was unfamiliar territory.

Missile BS bored of the Raven and Scorp as the main 2, want to see some different designs rather than taking the same one and giving it a different skin. Maybe give ships like the marauders new designs ?

Id love some T3 Frigs.

I think that "walking on stations" could be funny including a "meeting room".

But my very special favourite implementation would be "walking on ships" where i can finally feel home where ever my journey through space will lead.... roflcopter.

Ok so: We need better dogfighting stuff!

I'd love to see moar faction ships.

We do have Amarr/Minmatar, Caldari/Gallente, Minmatar/Gallente x2, Caldari/Amarr.
We do NOT have Amarr/Gallente, Caldari/Minmatar

Also faction carriers would be nice (and no i dont mean moms)

There was dogfighting and walking in ships in star wars galaxies - putting an "end table" and "tall lamp" and a "modern couch" in your YT-1300 was priceless. There was also pets.

I want them to sell pets in the AUR shops , also I want to be able to insure my pet so it doesn't loose SP when it dies. Also I wanna teach my pet to mine and fly a logistic, or maybe an orca.

I want them to make it so I can open a window inside the game and run a second account in that window - I hate alt tabbing

How about something completely different.


Pleasure Cruisers - the best bling you can get in EVE.

Comes with a no-expenses-spared lush interior captains quarters which will make them freed matar slaves drool in their rust buckets till the sun goes down.

Includes casino, snazzy lights, and you have modules which you can load up with exotic dancers and various kinds of liquor.

Provides bonuses to trade skills of course Cool but only while undocked.

These would cater for your average capsuleer of modest means... at a few billion a pop I'd say.



And of course then you have the pleasure Titan, which can be built in highsec but will not be able to dock OR to jump and would require materials equivalent to several of it's more conventional cousins. With the fitting layout of a freighter, and a hefty chunk of EHP it would be the ultimate gank-me-not ship. (till of course it did get ganked)

T3 Battleships are right out. They would require that CCP add new PvE content and would require reducing the mission/incursions isk faucet. Meaning, T3 Battleships require much more work beyond creating the ships.

T3 frigates would be interesting as a more expensive alternative to cruisers and be a cheaper HAC. Faction/Pirate BCs would be interesting, but honestly, do we need a Faction BCs making T1 battleships even more obsolete?

TBH, a T3 miner/hauler ship would be interesting and re-balancing T1 ships would probably be a better use of time.

Make ships with pure defense or overall tactics in mind. Some of these ships would have no offensive power to speak of... Just a quick brainstorm with no real attachment to any of these:


  • Ship that jams combat sensor probes to prevent a scan down.

  • Ship that can hack local and prevent itself from showing up in said local. For each level the ship can block 'x' others from showing up in local too.

  • Ships that can cloak other friendlies within 'x' range.

  • Ships that can detect cloakies.

  • Kamikaze fighters.

  • Ships that can shoot ICBM's through gates. They split on the other side and send 'x' missiles after pre-programed ship types.

  • Ships other then stealth bombers and smart bombs with area of effect weapons.

  • Ships that post false signature types. I.E. - it's a frigate showing up as a HAC on the enemie's scanners.

  • Ships that lower an enemy fleet's effectiveness through negative bonuses - the opposite of command ships. More effective against larger numbers.

And they wouldn't have the same appeal of T3 cruisers, unless CCP steps away from their "bigger isn't better" school of thinking that pre-crippled Marauders for PvP.

Would it be terribad to have some ships with generic weapon bonuses for tracking, fall off etc? Could even include launchers with RoF perhaps? I guess it would be a problem in terms of the fact there's not much point putting lasers on something with a tiny cap etc but it that's what modules and rigs are for isn't it?

I suppose pirate ships would make most sense? I'm a very caring bear so would like more flexibility in damage type etc but am guessing it might add some uncertainty (interest) to PvP too?
