SISI client won't start

So, downloaded and installed the SISI version, and after all the patching and updates, it won't launch the client. The launcher looks much the same as the tranquility one, but the "Play" button is in the top right corner of the launcher, and the window has no minimize/maximize/close buttons in the top right corner - I have to close it with the task manager. Also, after clicking the play button, it greys out, the Hd thrashes for about a minute, and that's it. Nothing happens - no client launches, and i have to hard kill the SISI launcher. SISI client is installed in it's own folder, completely separate from the normal Eve client, and I had SISI installed prior and it worked fine. Not sure which of the updates killed it, but it doesn't work at all right now.

When I tried yesterday it stated that the cluster was closed to login.. I just assumed that CCP were testing something or having a meeting.. There were about 53 people loggin in according to the Sisi login page.

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

I wouldn't know if the cluster was closed, but I doubt it's been closed for two weeks. Sisi client worked fine, until that moron inventory patch, then it's been screwed since, even after all the patches. I never even see the login screen because the launcher just sits there. Also, if it's the singularity server I'm trying to log into, why does their screwed up launcher show the population of Tranquility?

So, to get this straight, CCP wants players to test **** out on the test server, even though they don't listen to the feedback, but then when they screw up the client, launcher or both, they don't support it. Is that about it? Brilliant business strategy.

Wow, so in other words, you have nothing useful to add? You likely work for CCP?

The upside for the testing of DUST on SISI, is that a bunch of us not only can't connect to SISI, but DUST is screwed as well, no suit fittings, full SP and cash reset, and missing merc pack gear. Mind you, before anything could be done, internal errors crashed us all out, so neither work. Fairly standard CCP patching of late.
