Alt in a mission, extra DPS or salvage?

Which do you guys prefer? Extra dps from an alt or just keep him one room behind in a salvage boat.

I guess I could have my alt do dps during the mission then fly back and salvage also but that doesn't seem very efficient.

That awkward moment at the Gentlemen's Club when you see your sister on the stage....and you're not sure where to put the money....

I have 2 DPS ships run missions, then run back with a noctis if its not 3 jumps away. you could gimp the 2nd accounts DPS a little and fit a salvager, tractor beam plus a little damage. Domi would work well for that or any drone boat, just assist drones.

When i had an alt i would use an ishtar and aggro the room and orbit something and release a set of ogres, then warp in the alt with a high dps turret ship, that way the ishtar tanks and allows you to fit the turret ship with more dps mods and very little tank. Then after clearing about 4-6 missions i would either bring in a noctis and clean up or just keep on going for bounties and ignore wrecks depending on my mood.

Combined dps of over 1400-1500 dps that way, stuff dies fast

Personally, I prefer one Combat oriented account blowing up everything in the missions and the other account boosting and resting at the warpgate with a notics to clean up.

I can't be bothered to manage 2 dps accounts unless the mission calls for it, which is seldom. Such mission I find the convenience of 2 dps accounts doing Beautifully is "Blockade' with Guristas or Blood Raiders. Anything else, I'd rather the second account just boost and clean up.

You could choose dps+noctis if you were doing lots of dps on your main and your salvager wouldn't be waiting for 10 mins to enter the next gate. But that's not usually the case, so better to take dps boat

Rmember that rats have shield and/or armor repair by themselves. some angel ships have 135 omni tank (http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/item.php?type_id=22843) so if you have 500dps ship, you really doing up to 365 dps, but if you bring another 500dps ship, that means you are really doing 865 dps, 2.37x more.
