Trouble logging into eve

hi i have trouble logging into eve my internet connetion is up when i run the eve launcher it says the tranquility is online as soon as i run the client it keeps saying that the server status is unknown although my connection is online.its the first time i have this problem please assist.

There are lots of people having this issue. Three of my UK Corp. mates have just DC'd, so it seems as though it might be a backbone issue in the UK.

I'm in the USA, and I got disconnected and can't log in now. Rebooted the cable modem and router, still same issue. All other internet activities are working just fine.

yeah and im in South Africa.and its just like erinn is saying everything else is working fine.in fact yesterday the game run perfect but now i cant seem to log in...

Same problem is right now in Spain and a lot of people they can´t play.

We are aware that some players might experience difficulties logging into EVE Online.

We are investigating the reason for this and will fix that issue as soon as possible.

Incursion community hit hard by this issue, multiple DC's, seems to have started with Korean based players. In the UK players on Virgin seem to be most heavily effected, NA players are also hit.

Issues range from inability to get launcher to open, inability to get launcher to actually open EVE, to no access to the Forums + game.

Confirming that a dozen of my friends, all of whom use Virgin are having the exact issues mentioned above. People in Newcastle and up to Scotland using standard copperlines are having no issues.

According to my mates, connections from Comcast in the southern US aren't working, same for Rogers in the Toronto area.

Between 15:30 and 15:40 UTC we lost around 5000 connections, the situation afterwards seems to have stabilized with no additional connection drops.

While we continue our investigations and our work on fixing the situation we would like to apologize for the inconvenience.

I can't connect to TQ or the website via my normal connection with Virgin Media. I have set up a proxy server via my dev server and it works, although obviously not ideal.

Hopefully the issue is resolved quickly.

Confirming I am using Virgin as my ISP and am also unable to connect to TQ at the moment. I am using another PC via VNC to post this.

Happened to me aswell, could'nt log in for about an hour right before this post.

FYI there's been a big VirginMedia issue with League of Legends aswell, probably unrelated but it seems virgin is being shafted by cogent.

I'm from the netherlands,

I also have problems with connections, and I had also issues with the website before like 30 min ago.
