this is against the rules. the seller must pay the transfer cost. and not then charge the buyer for it. paying the transfer fee means paying it not getting the buyer to pay exstra to cover it.

Not even sure if this warrants a response.

2.9 bid was legit, there's no reason to 'fish' for higher bids, the character even on gemblog appraises at 2,574,460,479.96 ISK which doesn't include a super focused path.

Yes I just purchased the character, and no i'm not going to sell it at a loss. I dictate the price I will sell a character for, not you.

I'm sure CCP will end up cleaning up this thread, but anyhow. I'm sorry you're mad that you can't say this is what I'm paying RIGHT Now, and you must take it. It doesn't work that way. Good luck to you.

Putting Transfer cost is against the rules of Character Transfer, the price must be paid BY THE SELLER.

Correct? And no where does it say the price of a character can not reflect the costs involved. It just says the seller is responsible to make that payment? There are plenty of characters on sale, that clearly state they won't lose ISK due to transfer costs involved, aka they want a minimum isk bid.

If I am reading this entirely incorrectly someone come forward who is 100% positive, because I read it as this.

Seller is responsible for the payment because the seller has to access their account and pay the fee.

But a seller can ask any price they want, and reasoning shouldn't matter at all, just like someone could ask 10b for a 1m SP character, saying they are the most beautiful pilot in Eve.

Its just that some people cant read you see. But they do try, wich is what this guy did and unfortunately he got it wrong. Dont worry about it :)
