CCP served something weird to us at the cologne gathering

i mean, seriously, WTF ?

Thats supposed to be a "Mettigel", something popular in germany from the 1950, minced pork (mett)with onions, seasoned with salt and pepper, eaten raw with baguette or on breadrolls. its should look like a hedgehog (igel)

tasted great, but i could not get rid of the feeling of eating something "different"

i actually fear whether or not its allowed to post these pictures on this forum Roll

edit. but seriously wtf? too lazy to cook? stick some pretzels in some raw meat and call it cousine? wow

This stuff is very common where I come from, although we typically serve the "Filet Americain" variant.

Fermented herring with some brännvin works great in sweden so i wouldnt mind trying that shark ^^

there is a particular german court order regarding Surströmming, it allows dismissal without notice on a lease contract in case the tenant spoils some Surströmming in the staircase
