Hello.

Is there something I missed aboud Lvl4 Mining mission and Lvl 4 Distribution Missions?

Spending 30 minutes in a mission to gain 3 million ISK maximum seems to be a good way to lost time.

Perharps L4 Distribution should force you to go in Low Sec or 0.0 with a frigate or a cloaked transport but give you more ISK...

And why mining ORE for an agent instead selling it in the market?

Different skill sets will find different portions of the game more easily accomplished than others.

For Distribution missions - a Blockade Runner fit for a lot of cargo, can run them up to 2 times faster than you can in a T1 industrial ship.

For mining missions - they aren't that good at all but an exhumer can go through them at a fair clip.

The best income missions are the Security missions.

Though, if you want to run missions quickly, distribution can be cranked through very quickly and you will not get faction kill missions like you can/will with Security missions. As such, for building standings, distribution missions can be faster to complete in a short time period.

Distribution missions are only any good if you can find 3 or 4 agents in a station, otherwise you're better off blitzing level 3's.

Distribution for bots. Mining for no one.

Mining in high sec itself is a good way to waste time (not counting multiple accounts w/orca - booster), regardless of whether it's mission based or not.

Okay so, there are 4 types of agents but only one will have a real interest for ISK: Security.
Why?
It is really sad to have a part of the game so useless.
Because you will up your standings AND make isk with security missions.

No one have an idea to change this fact?

Courier missions are great for grinding faction standings. It's way faster to do 16 courier missions than 16 security missions.

As stated above.

Also mining missions in themselves have their uses - some characters do not have combat skills and the mining missions allow for an alternative way to get standings with a corporation (would not use mining missions for faction standings though).

Not everything is about making ISK.

As a top skilled miner, level 4 mining missions are in fact quickly done and yeilds a fair bit of reward LP wise.

Just like stated above. Its a non mandatory option for non combat trained pilot.

Reason ive encountered regarding standings:
- Jumpclone access.
- Getting standings for the datacore farmer
- Reduced taxes on your station trader
- Reduced taxes for refiner.
- Faction standings for empire poses.
- ???

Distribution missions are fast as hell, pop that storyline every 15(16?) missions and standings for faction come a lot faster even though corp standings might come slower than security missions. Although this can be done probably at comparative speed or a lot faster with just fleeting your combat guy with the guy that needs standings it may become harder if your noncombat alt is on the same account as your combat dude. A toon with 0 combat training yet racial industrial 1 can run pretty much any distribution missions for slow standings gain with minimal headache. Same for those mining barge/exhumer pilots on mining missions. As stated above not everything is about ISK/Hour (jumpclone example).

Risk v reward. More risk running combat missions, higher reward.

Hi Beckett Firesnake,

I did run a lot of courier missions in the "old" days when it quite common that you had to haul only 0.1 m3 for a L4 agent just to the next station in the same system. This helped me to get some small savings which I then later used for other things.

These days are long ago, but I still smile at the memory of them.

Sigil. Fit for align time, speed, and warp speed. (Or just the first two if you do it manually.) It's the fastest way to get storyline missions actually. Though I think now those storylines might suck.

Mining missions at max skills take 30 mins. You can be afk for a lot of that time. They're great if you're watching TV and don't want to really pay attention. The gas ones are really great. Gas Mining V + BS skill II-III = a mission you can turn on your miners on once and go afk for the whole duration. One of them has no enemy spawns, one spawns rogue drones up to cruisers that might need to be dealt with.

Is there not a way to balance all the mission types to give Loyalty points, Standings, and ISK?
Just a bit?
