So does this mean that when dust goes live TQ will be down for a couple of days as well? Or are you hoping that during this move you can find a way to do it much quicker?

I think it will be quicker becouse they have updating procedures for Sisi to TQ they did not have them from the other server.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

I am really looking forward to seeing what if any issues occur with the addition of DUST 514 to our sandbox. As it is a test server I understand server uptimes are always subject to upgrades and tests, however it would have been nice to have known beforehand and not the day of the event in this case.

now on TQ : 40k EVE players
now on sisi : 1700 DUSTies

given we know there's 400k players for a pick at 40k, there would be like 17k players for DUST ? is that a good or bad number for a beta ?

What I really want to do is know how to do an orbital bombardment. If there are skills and modules required, I would love to know about them asap. I would love to have my eve character bomb the enemy team if i'm not doing well in a dust game.

Oh ya, if i can get a hint of where to go, I wont have to spend forever trying to go to the system where the dust games currently take place.

My DUST Character is Currently Fighting in ...

E-RPGP on Planet 1

But it appears that all fights take place there so this info may change when SiSi comes back up.

CCP already said that when sisi comes back up there will be no orbital bombardment implemented. Its not clear if any features that provide for eve-dust interaction will be present. We may get nothing, maybe we will get chat and mail. Its not clear if we get anything else, except not orbital bombardment.

Once they see if they can actually have a PC game and a console game running on the same server, sharing the same data, then they update the clients to add features.

After everything gets integrated into TQ, I wonder how the Dusties will react after blue balling for 3 hours.

Will not happen. They get to be teleported to wherever there is a battle. And I doubt all of the game will ever be blue. The Amarr will always be after the Minmatar, and The Caldari after the Gallente. Even in Null there are the boarder areas where there is conflict.

In fact thats whats always bothered me about complaints of "blue balls". There is still an edge, a border across which is the enemy. If you do not like being in the middle of a bunch of blue, then what are you doing there? Go to the border, go to where the action is.
