I have a couple of questions regarding faction standings that the interwebs couldn't properly answer.

The plan would be to accept the missions with a random character, having them done by the mission alt, then finished by the alt without sharing anything.

1) Storylines. Will my killing alt lose standings to the faction's ships he kills?
2) More important: Will he receive standing gain towards the hostile factions? If so, what is the ration lost/won?

I hope someone knows the answer. Would really love to "balance" the standings, so I can do any faction's storyline missions. Pirate

I think you can see this at the transactions screen. If you do get a standing hit for completing a mission without being present for the kills, there should be a negative % shown with the "completed missionblabla" rather than "hostile acts" or something.

Yes - as a matter of fact a good rule of thumb is that anyone who would have been on the killmail had it been a PVP situation will take a standings hit.

No - Derived standings (i.e. changes to standings based on faction relations) only kick in when you gain standings with a faction (with the important exception of the epic arcs). Thus killing Caldari ships will not increase your Gallente standings for instance, it will just lower your Caldari standings.

So you want to have a character accept the storyline mission, then fleet with a second character who does the actual mission and then turn in the mission with the first character and not share the rewards and standings with the second (Fleeted) character.

No problem doing that.

OK, now to answer your questions.

1) Storylines. Will my killing alt lose standings to the faction's ships he kills?

Yes. He'll get negative standing hits for both Aggression and Ship Kill. Destroying certain structures will give a larger negative hit than a ship kill.

2) More important: Will he receive standing gain towards the hostile factions? If so, what is the ration lost/won?

No. Only the character that gets the storyline mission offer will receive Faction standing increase, along with negative and positive derived standings towards the other Factions.
