Yes, the notifications where broken in version 1.0.
They have been re-worked for Evanova 1.1 and should work much better now.

Let me know if you still find things that aren't working well regarding them, I could not test all the possible cases.

you seriously need to change how you word what information needs to be put into your evanova api key page... what you say makes no sense.

Just so you know, on my Wildfire S using the latest 1.1 the following don't work :

Mail :- Doesn't seem to update when you press refresh even after it's finished. Only seems to show updated mail once the app is restarted.
Assets :- 0.0 Outposts show as their EVE ID not their actual name. e.g. "KBP7-G VII - The Pig Sty" shows on my phone as "61000180".
Corps. -> [select corp] -> Info :- A linked player in the Corp description will appear as a link but will fail to open and 404. The link is the EVE "showinfo//:#" link, perhaps implement functionality to convert this to and EVEGate link?

General feedback :- It would be cool if when checking assets the icon was downloaded into the space to the left of each item.

Does it not show mails if you go Back to the Pilot screen and forth to the Mailbox screen?

Yes, there are a few instances of stations and also items that don't have names. I haven't figured out exactly why yet and didn't find the proper info in the CCP data dump. Any knowledge on where to find that is welcomed!

Thanks, I'll look at it. Eve's HTML is full of such oddities and is hard to cleanup correctly...

The icons show only if you have added the icons to the SCARD/Evanova/Img_Types/ directory (check the help page for that), so it is a manual process. This is actually intended to be that way but there will be an option in Evanova to perform that automatically in the future. I am currently experimenting with this but not so satisfied with the results yet.

Stylistically I like this app a lot, but it needs some work under the hood.

I added some skills into a plan which presents quite nicely, but I can't re-order them.
When adding skills to a plan, it adds them to V when I should be presented with a choice.
Skill plan time calculations are wildly off (four or five days from now gives a finish time of December).
Item browser needs to show more info, especially for ships.
Sometimes it has to force close before I can open it from icon.

Overall this is a very slick program though, and I have switched over to using it on my device (HTC MyTouch Slide, 4G). I especially appreciate the email functionality, which is why I dropped the other app I was using. I can overlook the faults for the email and presentation alone.

Keep up the good work; I'm looking forward to many great updates.

The re-order of skills is disabled at the moment as it is not working the way I want it, but I will revisit it sometime soon.
As for adding skill Level V right away, I am still debating if I should show a level selection box or not. I have explored both solutions and I currently prefer having all the levels added then removing ones I don't want.

Reordering would make the "add to V by default" a decent choice of functionality.
