I just watched Mintchips video ( Okay all you nerds stop drooling over a piece of a$$ you will never get) and she talked about the CSM minutes and how CCP might make the CSM reveal there true names. She made alot of sense and I completely agree with her that all playyers inlcuding CSM memebers should remain anonymous.

Im curious what would happen if some how either legally or illegally all eve 's players true names or emails were revealed (aka hacked similiar to SOE) and anonymity was thrown out the window.


Would you or have you revealed your ture name to your corp or friends in game?

Call me crazy but didn't I see a list during the voting that had character name, real name, and country of origin?

Edit: I did, I did see a page with true identities. How old is that video that you are talking about?

And to be honest... I really dont give a sh|t one way or the other about CSM members being known in the eve comunity. Mintchip just ran out of topics to b|tch about.

Never watch one of her vids and don't intend too either. The only reason I've heard of her, was because of Welsh.

Only reason I heard of her is because her damn face pops up in the related list every time I watch a eve related video. Same boat though, never seen a vid, got no reason to start.

Several of my corpmates know my real name, and I was prepared to make it public when I briefly considered running for CSM.

There's an extensive exchange on the topic in the CSM minutes. Read it and get back to us.

Considering how many people show up to Fanfest, with their char names/corp/alliance proudly displayed I dont think anonymity is such a huge concern for some.
