o7 Folks!

So I want to try out the 4 faction epic arcs ( amarr/gallente/minmatar/caldari), but I have low standings towards them (positive tho), what is the fastest way to grind up to 7.00? Solo mission running from lvl1 to lvl4, or pair with some stranger to grind with, or making some other missions to boost my standings... Im kinda new at this to be polite :)

Thx Zagert!

if you want to solo for standings the fastest way I found was to find a hub with lvl 1,2 combat missions for whichever faction you plan on epic arcing for and take several missions at once I'd do like 3-5 missions at once blitz them in cruiser I had standing pretty fast but just stay away from missions against empire factions otherwise you'll end up not being able to do all the arc's for all factions also train the skills like diplomacy and other relevant skills under social skills related to missioning.

Check out the Faction Repair Plan... good for use even if you're not in the negatives. But there's gonna be some grinding in there anyway. Recently did about half of the Amarr epic in a Tengu (great fun) until some SoE missioning absolutely DESTROYED my Amarr standing.

Yea pretty much what others have said. I have done the same so far for the gallente and minmatar arcs. In both cases I ground standings with an assault frigate (ishkur) and lvl 1-2 missions mostly.

And you only need 5.0 standings now.

You need 5.0 standing with either the faction or the corp of the very first agent in the arc. After that, standings are not checked, so even if you drop significantly, you can still finish the arc.

Really?? Huh, I'll have to go back to see if I can complete the Amarr Epic I started a few months ago. Last offered mission is still there. If correct, thanks for the tip!!

Fastest way to grind up a empire faction is with Faction War missions. Of course such missions screws your standing with the other 2 factions. I've run around 100 FW missions on the Minmata side and I've got 7.14 Min and 6.22 Gal respectively. Of course my Amarr is -6.29 and Caldari is -2.38. All these numbers are without diplomacy and connections.

Yea that doesn't really help if the OP stated he wants to try and do all 4 epic arcs.

You don't need the faction standing, just standing with the starting agent's corp. It doesnt take that long to grind up.

keep in mind, you only need the CORP standings to talk to the first agent. Faction standings work too, but they aren't required.
