Just saw this. Dont know how this story didnt make it to GD.

Google does that. They always say: well you should trust us with all this database power about all of you becasue it would be foolish of us and ruin your trust with us, and therefor we will lose that power.

Interesting... Why did the GM's step in and remove the dummy corporation? I thought scamming was okay in eve.

Of course Somer Blink is a scam.

It's just a variation of the "send me ISK and I'll send you ISK back" scam.

They don't even have to resort to deception to be successful when marketing is enough. That said, I would be surprised if they didn't rig the system even more in their favor just because they can.

Why cheat in a game where the house wins every time anyways? Maybe they did abit to get it started, who knows!? but genuine demands now means it just aint necessary.

Scamming is allowed however i'm pretty shure there is a rule against impersonation.

Correct - scamming is allowed, but you aren't allowed to impersonate other characters (or corporations). Another example are the people who try to impersonate Chribba also get banned.
