Unless I've missed it, I cant believe there hasn't been a thread on this already. I'm thinking something along the lines of DDA's in the lows and scram web in the mids with tank.

Are there any tried and tested fits yet? It seems that it can be designed defensively but would be useless as an offensive platform due to its slow ass and low agility.

For a real mindjob maybe you can fit: shield tank, Strip Miner and a set of full set of Light Drones and go run Level 1-2 combat missions. The strip miner will boost the ISK income from some missions by quite a bit while not affecting your DPS... Bear

The only problem with the PvP Procurer is that your drones will be shot and then your DPS disappears. The Procurer doesn't have a turret hardpoint. Sad

I was actually more curious about a Battle Skiff, but yeah.

Yeah, maybe. Not sure how practical that would be. I was thinking a small Neut in the high slot.

I am not EFTing here but I am thinking of a fit something like this: Small Neut 2, Small Cap Booster 2, Medium Shield Booster 2, 2 Hardeners (or 1 with a Boost Amp), 2 DDA2, 5 T2 Light Drones, rigs take your choice (I would choose tanking). Only problem is that you can't carry many Cap Boosters.

BTW the Procurer has a decent Capacitor capacity, too.

There are modules you can use to take the agr from drones towards the ship even if you don“t have a turret hardpoint. TP is quite effective at that. Otherwise your drones would just get killed and you would be left with nothing to do dmg with

Hmm. Interesting points. I think the neut would be a good call.

Heh you could sit it in a low sec belt with an alt in a cloaked Redeemer and bait. I probably getting a little far fetched now tho.

This.
Skiff has a 200 m/s base speed, versus Procurer's 90 m/s base speed.
It's easier to fit an afterburner on a Skiff.
Skiff can use a full flight of medium drones.
Skiff has that shield resist bonus.
Skiff has 1 more mid slot.

:D Now go fit an AB, Web, and Scram on your Skiff and start dropping bait cans.

IMO, Procurer is too slow.

A corpmate of mine did this a while ago before the changes. Got a skiff up to like 3k scan res - insta locked pods/inty's/cloaky's/etc. and then either used drones to destroy it (if it was a pod or something) or just held it long enough for a gang to catch it. Was great for giggles and baiting.

Nowadays though, I would do this if you want to be a bait dps and actually mine at the same time.

If you just want to catch people for others to kill, then do something like this:
[Skiff, Battle Skiff]
Damage Control II
Signal Amplifier II

Sensor Booster II, Scan Resolution Script

Medium Shield Extender II

Locks a pod in 1.2s

Swap one mid for an AB to keep up with a gang. Amazingly, both fits still manage to keep >70k ehp too...

I know cruisers are cheaper and better, but there is something hilarious about getting 10+ kills with a (non) mining barge.

I fit a DC2, DDA2, T2 medium shield booster, 2 T2 invulnerability fields, warp scram, 5 Hob 2s, small T2 neut, and shield resist rigs on my battle procurer. I ended up getting several consecutive kills with it, and have yet to even take a dent in the shields of my first.
