Why are there no T3 Pirate faction Cruiser's

Actual T3's have already a lot of stuff that needs to be balanced no need of pirate T3 "I win" buttons, specially when their actual ship versions are already "I win" buttons.

Current T3 ships need a good stock of lvl5 skills +ship+subs skills 5 and a good bunch of isk in fittings to actually perform very decently, at least as good as pirate ships requiring half of the effort if not less.
My vision about T3 ships turns quite around Tengu and Loki because those are what versatility means in my eyes, once you put the skill effort and isk in they become real war machines, I couldn't expect less from something alike. Hope next ship rebalance will not make me regret spending time training for those. (close to 4 T3)

CCP doesn't want to add any more T3, especially not until the current ones are balanced.

And if they do, all new ships need a defined purpose. "I think it would be cool" is not a purpose.

There are already lots of Cruisers available ingame.

A better candidate class for renewed Pirate tinkering is the Battlecruisers ..
Specifically the Battlecruisers that DON'T have a T2 version, the Drake & Myrmidon etc.

If the Strategic Class was to be extended to other hull Categories T3 Frigates & Battleships would be great.
No new roles need to be assigned, or thought of, as Strategic Hulls blur the boundaries between multiple role ideoligies, the same multifunctionality can equally apply to frigate and battleship based hulls

Battleships, if there's a single class that needs new fresh blood and interest is Battleships, nothing else.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say, something related to the reason they don't have T2 cruisers. Yeah, maybe that.

From a purely background point of view I'm pretty sure the pirate factions don't go into wormholes where the tech 3 stuff comes from.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Because lobbing RPGs at a freighter without any guards is totally strategic, amirite?

Hey you all have good points, and I am not running this question by you all on the grounds of "It would be cool". There would be a reason, mostly as a way to balance the Empire T3's, but also this thread is to provoke thought as to how to breath new life into the Pirate faction ships, seeing as they are slowly as time passes, grow stale. Granted they are some really good ships, but there is nothing new forth coming with them as of late. I get that they are ease button ships, but they also have not really been expanded on in some the, with Sansha's being the only exception. So please keep the thought banter going, all I as is stay a little more focused on the task at hand. Keep it up all.

Well it isn't.

It may be tactical, but it certainly isn't strategic.

Yes piewat T3s yes yes yes. Destroyers and BC would prob be another boring paint job and slightly dif stats like half the piewat ships. T3's they could make proper different with roles tailored to varying shades of evil depending on the subsytems used.

Used to be officer rattlers that left 10bil buckets of tears on suicide ganked kill-mails, now mostly tengu's. This would be the next tear-filled level too no doubt.

This would be awesome.

Particularly if you could mix subsystems of the two parent races.

It'd also be needlessly overpowered =/.
