problem with recent post about afk complexs

I agree that people shouldn't be able too afk complexs and so does ccp but for ccp too take an single stance on this type of afk is stupid when i could argue that afk cloaky **** who sit 23/7 in an system ( form of grief against person/corp/allaince) prevent isk from been made in that system so how come the new rules don't affect them. (cloaky and covert ops cloaking is in game but so is sentry drone attack while person is afk) I cann't find the post about punishment about doing the afk complex but if someone been afk cloaky in your system for days should this not be an punishable affect them.
CCp can go about it fix complex afk's make them hard/ like several people have suggest random gate spawn too an room with officer spawn/loot which only last an couple of mins then despawn and make the spawning that and i know people are going too say about this idea make it that the spawn are trigger by you killing an bunker but the next bunker not Avaible too be shoot until the next waves are killed. ( prevent what the drone region use too do warp in pop bunker kill bs and warp off)

i have never bot and my suggest if you re my post have nothing too do bot my title is ment too say I dislike ccp single stance too afk complex but nothing get done about afk cloaky mining barge have been sort in an way that only of an couple of them you can afk in but then you lose m3

I respect the right of others to play the game as they see fit. I might not like what they do. I might not like what it does to others. It is their game to play as they see fit.

Why is it that being cloaked in a Hi sec system is not a problem, but in a Lo/Null it is. You telling me I am not allowed to play at Cloaky in a null sec system, just because you dont like it? I don't like ganking/canflipping/WD's/ship popping/market/flying spacships/gallante capsuleers/amarrian lore, hell lets just say I hate everything about EVE. Lets just remove it.

The thing about AFK is you are not there. AFK plex'ers can get ganked. you take a risk. Anyone able to AFK Plex's and get away with it, Kudos to them.

No AFK player has ever shot or killed another player that I know of. No AFK player has ever played at Optimal, that I know of. Being AFK is a disadvantage from players being AK. That is the price you pay for being AFK.

I'm surprised how just being in local could ever be considered a form of griefing. In lowsec, space belongs to no-one (meaning it's still NPC faction space). In nullsec, dealing with invaders is what you signed up for. It does not prevent further exploitation by other capsuleers at all. Unknowns being in local and never knowing what they are up to... that's the fun reality of lowsec. If this stops you from doing anything in that system, then the problem seems to be one of mentality and risk aversion, not one of gameplay mechanics.

AFK cloaking is a godsend that allows me to take a leak in lowsec without the need to dock. I honestly don't see why it's such a hot topic. Maybe I'm not griefing hard enough. I do agree on the subject of bots though, I'd support mechanics that don't harm the overall experience but require AK.

So what system are you in that they have a cloaky afk 23/7? Are there any other systems in the area that need coverage? Do tell.

By the way, since we're already talking, do you want to buy a rifter? I've got the cheapest rifters in Metropolis. If you can find a cheaper rifter, buy it!

It's not griefing because they're not doing anything. It's not CCP's fault that you believe 1 red name in local means you can't undock or leave the force field.

I don't understand why any sort of AFK acitvty is allowed. If your idle for 15 minutes the server should just kick you out.

The reality of Eve is that, if you don't love it like it is today, you should probobly go ahead and unsub.

If you cant work out why this would not be a solution, then there is not much hope.

As for the OP.... you need to think about the difference between someone doing SOMETHING while AFK, and someone doing NOTHING while AFK.
