What are the most fail people you've met in the game so far? Don't name them, just post what they did for lols. They can even be yourself, if it was you make sure you mention it so we can make fun of you. Lol.

Here mine:

At one point he told another member to "stop flying that way, you are going to decloak me."

I still hate him with all my guts to this day.

You fail to see where's the problem here, the lack of e-peen KM's instead of team work (witch usually leads to no kill mail for most friends, they show in thou)

Actually you only fail to understand "social experience". You can go back to your alts multiboxing social experience, thanks for your important participation. Lol

Few years ago, when I sought one of the most grotesque things on eve online.
The FC (the CEO of a "we are pros you're ****" type corp) basically annichilated our 50-men capital fleet + supports. No survivors except two lonely ceptors that managed to flee the massacre.
Soon after that he was (like his moronic corpmates) excited like a 13-yo who sought a nipple. "We showed them the numbers! We morally won that battle, good job!"

It's still imprinted on my mind, it was really grotesque. That guy kept fcing fleets managing roamings and fleet for almost a month, boasting his ego of how much he and his corp were pro and ****, and systematically putting the blame of his failures on the others.

Very first time I ever played in EVE back in 2007..

I flew a stabber into 0.3...lets just say I got pointed by a rat and then VETO. pirates showed up. They didn't even bother to kill me aside from getting on the killmail.

Though I did try a last ditch effort to ECM Burst my ass out of there. Didn't work.

Me a few years ago.
I'd saved up for several weeks to build my first sleipnir with a deadspace booster for my main.
It was late at night, I'd got all the mods on but was missing one RF gyro. I went to the nearest hub in a fast frigate and bought one. I came back, right clicked to board my sleipnir, a random box appeared so hit enter in irritation (was about 3am) and my sleipnir disappeared.

I had reprocessed it. Sad

It was one of those moments where you sit, heart racing, blinking at the screen with your hands on your head for quite a while....

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

once upon a time a guy called for a nerf to badgers cause his dramiel got killed by one, then he raged on the forums about it, then he raged about nerfing alot of other stuff, then one day he happened to be in amarr and he had agressed people and kept leaving him in his pod then he said " haha these guys keep following me but know that its impossable to kill a pod in high security space" naturally a challenge such as this compelled me to accept to i went out in a throw away punisher and killed his mining frigate and then his pod then he priv convod me and told me that i should enjoy my ban for killing his pod in high security space, granted after podding him i was wondering where on earth concord was and enjoyed a good minute to actually think about warping out and seeing if i could avoid them entirely, was a bit late by then but the loss of my 5.0 sec stats was totally worth it to accept and win this challenge ^_^.

and that is my story.

Those who only fly missions in hisec.

Their fail is missing out on 99% of the game EVE Online.

I have to be the most fail player in Eve because I don't seem to care when my space pixels get blown up and I like to play Eve in my own special way as that is what I enjoy.

I must be failing as lots of people keep saying that you must do x, y and z in Eve yet I do none of those things and I'm still here having fun Big smile

i am assuming that since you know where wow is, you must have played, and failed at that game?

btw, why did you call yourself diesel? is it in honor of vin diesel, and his sexual predications?

EDIT: Here's one of many reasons he fails, hard.

During my first year or so in EVE, MNG was, of course, an annoying **** that I constantly trolled. Well, in his infinite wisdom, he decided to set a trap for me. He asked me to come to a belt and take him on one on one in a fight, since his other attempts at "pwning" me had failed. (one of which, attempting to "crash" my eve client by inputting java code to nullify the game...in the game chat box...before jklgbijrnkthnbashing his keyboard in rage when it didn't work). So I lol'd and said sure, why not.

I grab my shiny new hurricane obtained as a new bright eyed scrub with my fanceh T1 Meta Level 4 gear and was off. I got to the system and found him in a belt. He was in a Catalyst. I lol'd harder. So, I lock him to scare him and to prep for the "duel." He started to burn away and said "no, wait don't." I got confused as to why he suddenly wanted to wait and didn't just drop a can...that's when it happened. A Drake and Tempest warp in and lock me. They opened fire, while he's boasting in local about his glorious trap. Tempest was at optimal ranges for artys and Drake was pounding me hard with MNG adding to the DPS. My tank was holding but it wouldn't last. He was bragging and boasting in local, calling me out for falling for his "perfect trap."However, there was one tiny problem with his plan.

His "trap" was in a 0.5 system.

I proceeded to lol even harder, engaged the new flashy reds and bash them as Concord rolled in. I was even able to get a KM for MNG I think. He then sent some angry text, death threats, etc, while I walked away with around 25mil in loot.

Back in the days I thought I was being very clever putting an untanked badger with a mining laser 1 into a belt and let it suck away while i was sleeping. Granted I did not get ganked and it worked, but still feel very embarrased when thinking about it now. Oops

To bring a story of another player:

A pilot I know was trying to move his stuff from The Forge to Hek, travelling about 20 something jumps. He put everything on sale, and loaded his most valuable items into an industrial. Must have been close to a billion in assets and modules. He undocked and set course to Hek. After a few jumps he convo'ed me, telling me "there are reds following me around". I told him it must be criminals, and it was not until a few jumps later we discovered the full fail potential: He was in Gallente space, while still being enlisted in caldari militia, in a badger worth a billion, fully untanked and completely unaware of the potential risk. Since luck tends to side with the dumb people, he managed to dock, and quit FW. When he undocked the undock was full of gallente militia waiting for the loot pinata. fun times. Big smile

If he was a mewling you weren't even a misbegotten sperm in your horrid father before you were spawned when i started.. Don't act so high and mighty. There's always a bigger fish out there. Playing since 2009 does NOT make you some kind of ancient amazing sage on this game. And if this is an alt post with your main.

Oh man, in the spirit of this thread I have a great story to tell about my biggest fail.

I had been playing for only a month or two and just gotten into a Retriever (that's not the biggest fail, so keep reading Blink) and was like wow, this thing mines like crazy but the ore hold sucks. No one's bothered me yet so let me jetcan mine in this .5 system I'm mining in.

I got can flipped once or twice by different people, of course I knew it was my own damn fault and I never agressed the guy by stealing back from the can because I knew he'd be prepared, but one time, this guy shows up in his Rifter and decides to can flip me. I had bought and fit a Cormorant only days before and had it in system, so in my rage I decided I was going to show him the error of his ways.

I get my Cormorant and he's still sitting by the can, I'm shaking from the adrenaline rush (this was my first PvP fight), we lock each other and I open fire and he returns it. I didn't have very good skills of any sort at the time, so my active hardener drained my cap and left me tankless. He blew my ship up and I didn't even get him down to armor. A few days later he showed up in system again and started convoing me, gave me 10mil for blowing up my stuff and explained that he missed PvPing in null but due to time/wife constraints (I bet some of you here can relate to that) so was limited to high/low sec for combat. We talked for a few weeks on and off, he gave me a handful of PvP tips (should have checked local before engaging to be sure he didn't have friends waiting).

The most fail part? I learned from him later when I was asking him to analyze what went wrong in my fight against him that I. Never. Started. Moving.

I sat still the whole damn time I was fighting him.

Everyone has the right to make fun of other people. As you demonstrated.

EDIT: Oh, and I have a personal fail.

Was bored, wandering through a 0.5 belt in a Jaguar or a Wolf, looting someone's wrecks, when a Rifter jumped in, targeted, and started shooting me. Noting that this Rifter pilot had no association with the looted wrecks, I knew CONCORD was on the way and decided to target him and get a couple shots in before he blew up. Unfortunately, after locking and pressing F1, I ignored that pesky warning that popped up. I obviously didn't read it and was in a hurry, since it was warning me about shooting the wreck I had targeted by accident... and CONCORD claimed two dopes that day.
