POS Settings For Defence - Confused.com

Hello,

It has been a few years since I set up a POS and I am a little confused as to why my POS guns did not fire when a neutral came to within 30km of the POS. The guns are online and loaded with ammo.

The defence tab of the POS settings. I have ticked the box - Attack if standing is lower than - and have entered a value of 0.1, I expected this to fire at any neutral in range of the guns.

It seems very straight forward and logical.

Please advise on weather I have setup the defence tab correctly. All I would like to do is fire at neutrals and nothing else.

Confused.com is such an odd site. the commercials are weird too.

Also, your pos should be set to fire on anything that isn't your alliance. A hyper aggressive pos is the best defense.

How long were they uncloaked? POSs take awhile to get a lock.

Were they in a pod? As far as I've been led to believe POSes dont shoot pods.

Also what the guy above said - POS guns take some time to lock people up, and scrambling batteries take even longer.
